Not the left, the Democrats. The Democratic party takes advantage of the "left" because there is no viable third party. Actual leftists are the ones who actually care but sadly leftist politicians are stuck in this party that keeps appealing more to the right than to them.

There is no one who actually appeals to the people. Just two parties that care about the rich and powerful. Republicans are just able to convince people to vote for them. Democrats suck at messaging.

This is a perfect example of the media divide between Republicans and Democrats. Republicans are shown the real prison because they want those "violent gang members" tortured. And a Democrat is given a show at a hotel where it looks like the man is being treated like a tourist in paradise.
