The Far-Right is the 2nd biggest party in Riksdagen since our last national election (in 2022) however. So them losing support, for the first time ever in any election, will hopefully repeat itself in 2026. People seem disappointed in them now that they actually have had influence for two years.

It amazes me how this keeps happening.

The right wing parties around the world keep getting opportunities to have power or influence, and they always end up making things worse so they get voted out. That makes sense.

What doesn't is the follow up of people voting them back in power a few years later after believing they've gotten better despite changing nothing at all only to be shocked that it's the same shit they hated, maybe even worse.

I think another factor in this is the blow up of SUV in the late 2000s, early 2010s.

It used to be college kids and young adults would get a small to moderate sedan. Enough for their friends, maybe a kid. Then as they added to their family unit they'd outgrow their vehicle and get a larger one, but now that doesn't have to happen because most are starting out with a 6 seat SUV that with proper maintenance can last a long time.

This is why I say the Democrats need to be aggressive in their gerrymandering to counterbalance. Ideally there would be no gerrymandering at all, but in a system where the Republicans are hiring consultants to systematically gerrymander as many safe seats as possible, it's idiotic for the Dems to not do the same.

It's not the porn itself that conservatives hate. Conservative men LOVE porn. What they don't like is the modern porn industry where women don't have to crawl to a production studio and hand over 80% of their income. They can create an OF, market themselves on Reddit and make pretty good money while working towards their life time goals.

This sort of crap is causing an exodus of people from these red states. I grew up in Louisiana and left when I was 23 or 24. I went through the entire education system down there, including going to a Catholic elementary school and I had a glimpse at the state university.

That's the point. The one's leaving are more likely to be Dem voters. The one's staying are backwater Republican voters who can't read and will blame Dems for their misfortune. It's been the Republican plan for decades now.
