There kinda is stuff to miss, but it's really not stuff you should worry about your first run of the game. Trying to make "the perfect run" is just a way to make your run tedious and unfun as you focus on reading wikis to learn about schedules than just playing the game. It'll just result in you quitting the game anyway.

If you genuinely love the game, you'll likely do more runs in the future - which is when keeping the wiki open and trying to line everything up will be more fun.

They were very successful at controlling the narrative because the UK trial wasn't televised. Now, it's all televised and everyone can more readily hear about everything Johnny says happened and then compare it to Amber's previous stories in which she's just lied about everything pretty clearly.

It's New York Post, which is kind of a rag, but a few other sources seem to have confirmed this too. It wouldn't shock me since a "source" (Eve Barlow) living with Amber during the trial recently informed them of her routine that included studying for trial (which is weird because why does she need to study if she's just going to talk about what happened?) and then trying to villainize Johnny because the "source" said that Amber feels dehumanized because her ex-husband (who she claims abused her on the daily) is ignoring her in court.

It wouldn't surprise me though. I just think the genie is out of the bottle and I think her testimony, which is probably on Wednesday, is just going to open up even more criticism.

this is the kind of really weird comment that shows how biased you are btw

like, its the most normal thing in the world to rehearse the incredibly specific phrasing you need to give in your statement so you don't start rambling, and say something slightly vague or that can be interpreted differently from your prior statements, and to prepare for all the questions you are going to be asked

your commentary attempts to give off this impression that you have good amount of knowledge of how court proceedings work and what the "norms" are, so you can point out when something is "weird", but if you really had any familiarity with these processes, that comment would never cross your mind. you only say it because its just another snipe at her, not because it makes any sense. studying for testimony the most normal thing imaginable for someone in her position to do

If he said he'd pitched a concept, done a load of design work, and been fired while they were still experimenting with gameplay, I'd sympathise. But he must have signed off on some terrible mechanics choices.

In his defense - rounds of iteration could take Balan Wonderlands gameplay to actually good. I don't think its ever the case that you get the base structure of a game up and running and the first round of gameplay is "good", it's just a base to start expanding on and actually give depth to. I didn't play Balan Wonderland but it it looked to me like the gameplay was a first draft and just released as is. I guess that's actually what happened! Square Enix probably didn't care that much about refining this game and just decided to dump it out the door.

That's not to say that he actually would have made good choices to make it good though.

I felt similarly of It Takes Two. Everyone seems to think that game was amazing but I had a problem with how every gameplay gimmick (which it introduced a new one in every level) was implemented in the most simple way, then you'd solve some very simple puzzles with it, then move on to a new area with a new mechanic. What I really expected was for the game to naturally give you more interesting challenges with escalating difficulty to solve for each gimmick but it never really happened. Not necessarily "hard" challenges but more satisfying ones to flex the muscles you develop when using those mechanics. Maybe those game devs got fired before release too.

I find it irritating when the lawyers are condescending and rude, like if that psychologist lady asks for clarification on what page or line she should be reading from, Elaine talks to her like she's a dumbass child.

I wonder how that plays with the judge and the jury - if it's standard or ignored or if they dislike it too

The pandemic induced delays were actually REALLY GOOD because it Endgame was literally the capstone of a 11 year 20+ movie saga with Far From Home as a denoument, and then there was a nice break before trickling in content to start up the next phase of content

Couldn't have been planned better, except for the unfortunate GOTG drama

Trailer was great at demonstrating the tone we've come to love about Thor. Who knows what the movie is actually about but it's a good bet that a lot of the movie does carry that tone.

I don't understand how people thought Cleganebowl was visually interesting. The Mountain was like a target dummy that doesn't move or take any damage. The Hound was apparently finding some kind of emotional resolution through it all but it felt like a fight with one participant.

I just watched the first episde of Moon Knight. It was really good.

Dropped this game already, played about 8 hours.

Had a pretty fun tone, to begin with at least. I liked the setting with Tiny Tina playing this D&D game, and Andy Samberg and Will Arnett's characters fit right in. Kinda felt like the Lego Movie. Wanda Sykes doesn't seem to know where she is but it works I guess. I don't think this "satire story" really has legs to go the distances though. It starts fairly strong for me but it started puttering out and repeating the same kind of humour and jokes over and over. The sidequests weren't very entertaining and fairly time consuming. Felt like the writers thought they were funnier than they actually were. Maybe it'll find some emotional core and finish strong but i don't think there's enough meat here for the whole journey.

The reason I played this game is that my buddy is a huge Borderlands fan and Assault on Dragon Keep is his favourite piece of all Borderlands content, so he was hype for this. But he seemed really put off with the story here - it's all a joke that doesn't matter. The two side characters are just pure comic relief without being "real characters". It's kinda funny because the way he described Assault on Dragon Keep, I pictured it being exactly how this game turned out, so I didn't feel bait and switched on that. He did though. I guess that DLC took itself a bit more seriously than this did.

Online play were absolutely horrible night of launch and during first day - literally not playable. Once they fixed it though, didn't have an issue playing coop at all.

Hidden items like dice means I have to take even longer going through the zones to check behind every corner and jump up every possible ledge. I've been told yellow paint indicates if something is something you should try jumping on this but I didn't know that, so it just had to try jumping up on everything and looking anywhere "just in case". Don't really like it when games make me feel that way. Spent a ton of time searching the hub city and I don't think it was worth it or satisfying.

Guns feel really bad. There was really no gun I ever picked up and was like "this is sick" but there were a lot of guns I where I thought "this is awful." I felt I had to look at and try every gun I picked up in hopes of finding something cool and useful but I was usually disappointed. Lots of effort and time spent there just to feel bad.

Something really annoying happened with the character customizer in the hub city - there's "preset options" that you can select, and if you do it - it removes all your custom choices. You can't just revert. So even trying that option means you'll have to redo your character from scratch if you don't want to use a preset. Really inexcusable problem created there for no reason. Even if I wanted to play the game more, I'd never touch that thing again.

The overworld is cute and potentially fills in the game with fun things today. However, most fighting is done in "Random encounter areas" which are just copy paste zones with a set amount of enemies to kill and then the encounter ends and can teleport back out. So we are just doing rifts in every game now, I guess. Made a lot of this games areas feel boring and uninspired. There was one really cool forest but besides that, it felt repetitive.

What ultimately caused me to quit was getting to a main story quest zone that required level 17 but I was only level 12. I had just been thinking to myself "it's cool there's all these little extra areas on the for people enjoying this game to go do if they want, I don't think I'm gonna go through all that though, I'm just gonna blast through the main story and call it a day". But then the game literally said "sorry, you need to be level 17 to progress the story, why don't you go back down the hill and do some random encounters for awhile!". So I closed the game.

IMO at the point of your 4th guess, it's better to come up with an unrelated word that uses all possible letters that that be that second letter to gather information than to keep guessing one at a time and risk losing. unless you really just want to get lucky and end in fewer guesses for the your record
