They're trying to recreate and weaponize the same kinda anti-gay hysteria that was so successful for them in the 90s and 00s.

The issue is trans people are a much smaller minority than LGB people (.3% vs 3.5%) and we live in an age where most people are online and exposed to this stuff with regularity.

These moves we're seeing is the GOP realizing it has nothing left to win over moderates/independents, so they're just rolling the dice on whatever culture war animus they can

It kinda kills a lot of shows for me when it's like "wait a few years for 8-10 episodes of this series"

Not like way back when when it was like "oh here's 24 episodes of 24 per year", "here's a whole whack of Sopranos episodes once every year or year and a half", "have 15-20 episodes of LOST this year".

Iunno the enhanced quality is nice, but I wish more shows could just keep up the pace. Kinda kills the hype for a lot of stuff.

I honestly hated the portrayal of Jedi as "superheroes" in the 2D Clone Wars stuff lol

I don't think it was a conscious decision to send two clones to assassinate Yoda, those are just the few that were around when the order came through.
