I've played a lot of Soulslike games and just difficult games in general in my life. The boss at the end of the memory Lady Butterfly is the absolute most challenging boss fight I've ever done in my life. Probably didn't help that she was the first boss I fought in the game since I immediately went to explore, but damn. Must have taken me 30-40 tries to beat her. There's another boss fight later in the game that is supposed to be difficult for most people. Beat it on the first try either without getting hit, or getting hit only once. Nothing compares to that one boss for me. But also, I didn't beat the game. I made it a little over halfway through it before juggling too many games and dropping all of them eventually. I want to go back through it. Especially since I've been playing Nioh again lately.

Heh, a few days ago, I randomly decided to open my 3DS after not playing it in years. Saw that the back was bulging a little. Knew exactly what that meant. Opened it up and took the bloated battery out and ordered a replacement. Actually, I went to steal my gf's battery since she hadn't played hers in even longer lol. But her battery was swollen too even though it didn't make her back bulge. Ordered her a replacement battery too after I confirmed the replacement I got was decent.

MK11 was the first Mortal Kombat game I ever regret buying. MK1 was even worse for me. MKT was my favorite for nostalgia reasons, and MKX is my favorite modern MK. I put so many hours in MKX. I mained Royal Storm Kitana (a character that I gave 0 fucks about before MKX) before she got any buffs and went on a rampage online.

The kameo system took me out completely. It was so bugged on launch and never, ever (even in this trailer) looks good or smooth. It's such a distracting and integral element.

MK11 had their best combat, just wish they kept that engine and sped it up a bit. I also hate that they removed 98% of zoners, it's my favorite style. Guess I need to be good at rushdown, aerial combat, or teleport characters.
Yea, I despise the Kameo system. I wish they'd just go back to regular, non-gimmicky fighting. I thought I'd be happy with the variation system gone, but Kameos are even worse. I think MKX is peak MK for me. MK11 was definitely too slow, and I hated the custom variations even more than MKX.

Still waiting for a response on this if anyone knows.
It's in beta. I think the only actual restriction is needing to be in the same country. But it combines the libraries of everyone in the family into one giant actual library. I think a family can have up to 5 or 6 members.

Playing a game from someone's library no longer locks that entire library, only the game itself. So if Person A owns Dragon Quest 11, Person B can play it while Person A can play other games belonging to Person A's library.

And actually, if 2 people own the game, that means 2 copies are available to be played across the family at the same time. It's treated like an actual library with books. Much better system than before where it would lock the entire library.

I don't want the tech to fail. I'm all for breakthroughs and whatnot. However, I don't trust it because of Elon being behind it. And I don't trust it because of the trials I've heard on the monkeys. Things like monkeys were in so much agony that they started biting their fingers off or something.

I was originally going to say that I really doubt people actually want the tech to fail, just that they just don't trust it to succeed because of Elon. However, a few posts in this topic have proven me wrong. I do think it's weird to want to fail. And to want it to fail because you don't trust tech like that in general makes no sense. There's a big difference between not trusting that it is safe and actively wanting it to fail/not be safe.

Getting lower than 0:00:0 in the Chocobo race was always pretty easy for me though. I remember getting really frustrated with Kimahri's forest thing with the butterflies as a kid, but doing it eventually. I tried on Steam just a couple years ago and did it on the first try with ease. I'm not sure if the Steam/international version is easier or if I had no encounters turned on or something (but pretty sure no encounters are turned on during the minigame anyway).

Jumped at the promotion though since it meant more money, plus I was able to get from under my help desk supervisor that I wasn't a fan of. I think I used to be somewhat interested in network engineering, but after being in my current role, I for sure think I'd prefer being a developer.
