Aren't magicites locked behind a book of Trials these days? You might need more stamina, or whatever the conditions are.

Got both Holy weak Odins done fairly easily. The clears were significantly slower than I expected (both in the 45 second range), but I never really felt like I was in any danger of losing.

Bring on dark weak.

So we know more about the Anima Lens update in JP. I figure that info will help some people here if they still have dream selects to pick:

- Daily mission (complete 1 dungeon) gives 150 Lvl 4 lenses per day
- 3000 lenses for a AASB, 2000 lenses for a chain
- AASBs available are the exact same as the coin exchange we just had for anniversary
- All Gen 2 chains and Gen 1 realm chains seem to be available

Finally a new Odin. I'm itching to use my stamped Rem Sync on relevant content.

Magic ice will be a major problem for me, but the others shouldn't be too bad.

Magic Holy: Rem should destroys this. If she doesn't, I have others who can help, like Pecil or Minwu.

Physical Holy: Beatrix and Agrias are ridiculously stacked. This will be easy.

Magic Dark: Emperor is nice, but I don't know about the rest. My only gen 2 chain is Golbez, but I have none of his other modern relics. Seymour CSB+AASB might be the better choice. CoD has her HA for guaranteed rage breaking, and I do have her AASB, so she's probably in.

Physical Dark: Almost complete Sephiroth is a certain pick. After that, things get a bit harder. Cloud dark Sync is ok, but not amazing. I have Rufus AASB and enough Sapphires to get his HA if I want a dedicated imperiler, or I could just use Emperor off-stat. Shadow and Seifer both have CSB and an additional cap-break, so either would work as chain. Regardless, this should be more than enough.

Physical Ice: Fran HA+CSB+AASB will be great here, but I'm not sure my dps is up to the task. I have no ice Sync, and my double cap-break choices are Noel and Snow, not quite top-tier choices.

Magic Ice: I might need to run Fran as my chain+Imperiler, but that means I only have 2 dps, and I don't think I have any 2 ice characters capable of dishing out enough damage. No Syncs, no double-AASBs.

I might be able to do this one, with stacked Emperor and decent Maria and Minwu, but I'm worried about Hilda. She only has her USB1 for healing, but with Cait Sith using his AASB for additional healing, that might still be good enough.

I'll at least give this Bahamut some serious attempts. Unlike other realms, I won't have to be worried about the 20k hits here, between Emperors Sync cmd2, an overstrike chase on Emperor Sync and Maria AASB, OSBs/AOSBs on Maria and Minwu and the potential to just stack 2 BDL relics on Emperor.

I'm late to the party compared to the others in this topic, but I also managed to beat FVII Bahamut.

Jeez, that guy is ridiculously tough. I tried so hard to make Lilisette work, since she's my only FB counter, but I just couldn't keep her alive through that absolutely brutal phase 2. Even though Cait is mostly a mage support, his BSB, Bard songs, USB2, and some debuffs helped much more than I thought, even in a physical team.

Fwiw, I didn't have Eiko's Glint+ either. I cast Haste and Shellga manually. I skipped Protectga since the only non-piercing physical is capped at 9999 and easily survivable if you pop a Fabula heal before it.

Approximately a week and a half after my first Odin, I'm now at 10/10.

I didn't think I had enough for magic wind and magic earth, but Cait Sith and Emperor are that damn good. I ran Eiko with both AASBs as my main healer for those two fights. She did some decent damage with D.Valefor and Brothers. Deuce, whose AASB I picked up in this fest's RoP healed through the others. The Stoneskin chase on her AASB actually allowed me to keep slots 2 and 4 alive against the anti-heal versions and the bard songs provided some much needed crits or additional buffs.

I generally had a much harder time with the physical fights. Not having an alternative to Cait's Glint+ to overwrite the buff at 75% meant my damage slowed down a lot at those points. And the lack of a Cait Sith off-healer made survival much harder.

Water-weak sucked for both physical and magic. Rikku is my only water chain, and, when it comes to imperils, she is just not in the same league as Balthier, Prompto, or Emperor.

It was strictly a lack of motivation. I generally prefer realm based content over elemental one. This was actually my very first attempt at Odin.

I wanted every relic in the top half (everything down to Rydia AASB2), and only got Lenna's Sync from the top half, but the entire bottom half. I don't want fucking Minfilia, I'm loaded with better supports.

Ah well, Rem's Sync is now mine. I picked Paine's USB3 from the USB pick, but I'm unsure about the Glint+LMR selection. I know healer G+ are all the rage, but I don't feel strongly about any of the non-lensable ones I'm missing. En-element G+ are meh. Tyro's G+ could be nice for the Odin fights where I want to use him, but it's strictly worthless in realm fights. Or I could pick a non-lensable w-cast LMR (most likely CoD)

How exactly does Odin inheritance work?
Obviouly I farm 3 more to get a lvl 99 copy.
i know I'll only need 1 copy of other Odins to get their seal on this one after its lvl 99.

But can I use copies of a magic Odin to break the cap of a physical Odin? Read, should I farm 7 copies total, since this one was pretty easy, all things considered.

I didn't think I had sufficient tech to actually get this one done, since WoL kinda sucks. Not sure the sub-30 is possible, but I'm so happy to even have a kill.

I have WoL open with his realm chain for the Hastega and a nice Faithga. He needs to cast Grace on Sarah before phase 2, so she can shrug off the Silence.
Lili does a single Wrath+Entrust to Matoya, so she can cast USB and AASB quickly.
WoL doesn't do much damage, but at least his Sync comes with 2 Overstrike hits that can break rage. Maybe he could break rage with his Sync attacks too, but I didn't bother using 6* motes on him; I probably should, might just get me the sub-30.
Matoya and Meia just do amazing damage during their AASB period.

Black Dragon hits hard and fast, but the Sarah BUSB got the job done in phase 1, if only barely. In phase 2 she gets entrusted by Lilisette, so that helps survival.

That only leaves XI as far as Dreambreakers clears are concerned. We'll see if I can get Shantotto's Sync from banner 5.

Got 2 more Dreambreakers mastered and even sub-30'd: XIII and Tactics. Both were actually rather easy after the nightmare that was Sin, though teams are obviously stacked.

Lightning and Noel build up enough gauge to launch both SBs back to back around the 15 second mark, then they unleash hell. No need to prepare for the phase 2 sleep, the team is so fast, they end phase 2 before Raines gets a chance to cast it.

In my first attempts, I had Protectga and Shellga on Ovelia and Agrias, but I realized they weren't necessary, and they were slowing down SB generation a bit too much. Marche used Saint Cross on turn 2 to remove blind.
I needed Tyro's Astra for the phase 2 sleep, which meant I needed to end phase 1 before the turn 10 sap. The two ICs from the USB1 allowed me to easily cast the OSBs at the phase transitions, though that meant keeping Tyro idle during the entire phase 2.
Phase 3 was pure dps. Agrias cast AASB to add an additional cap break, Tyro smacked Agrias with his book to remove the confuse. Marche cast his AOSB, but I'm sure it wasn't actually needed.

Items disappear, or rather move to the bottom of the list, if you don't have enough amber to acquire them.

Japan seems to be getting Bio Chains, Bio Odin, and 6* Bio magicite Ultros.

So this aged like milk, lol. I finally got the bastard and friggin Paine was still hitting consistent 39,999 against Sin in Phase 3 at rage 0. We're talking 539,999 here, so not just crits. Sadly no w-cast cmd 1, so I only got the 39,999 cap.



I hear DB Bahamut isn't much harder, so I might be able to beat that on too.

Holy shit, I just got Cait Sith Glint+ from my anniversary ticket. I was gonna pick that one with my stamps. Now I'll actually have to think of another Glint to pick up.

Got DB Sin down to 4.4% when the second Giga Graviton wiped me. Since my Yuna kinda sucks these days, she warmed the bench and I brought Elarra as my off-realm. If she had a better renewable source of Last Stand than her fucking BSB, I would have gotten the win.

Frustrating to fall so short of the win, but this seems like it's close enough where a win is possible. Fucking Wakka missed Tidus in phase 3 when he was supposed to overwrite the 70% DB Full Break with the weaker 30% Full Break.

4/5 Mog balls with 150 mythril is pretty insane.

Papa with Sync+AASB is kinda nuts.
Alphinaud (HA) and Ysayle (Dark Shiva) also pulled their weight with the high multipliers on summons to break that phase 3 rage after the DB Fullbreak.

Hell yeah. That was my main prize on banner 1. Not gonna pull any more there.

Used my 5 tickets on VI, and that also went very well. Got 3 new Awakening/Syncs: Shadow's Sync, Strago AASB and Gogo AASB

Jeez, that was tough. Even with 2 healers spamming Last Stand medicas, I was one turn away from a guaranteed wipe when his Ultima gave me enough jauge to stagger him with Seifer. Then Sephiroth cast his USB to take Long Gui's last 10%.

If I was to do it again, I'd suggest using Unique or default Soul Breaks to Stagger him more easily.

Nothing worth a damn from 5 tickets and the present draw. What I remember are a dupe Firion AASB (now 3/15), Freya AOSB and +10 Mag for Papalymo with his en-fire LMR.

1/11 Rain AASB

That was pretty much a straight miss.

I think I read somewhere that JP had the refresh early November. So that would be May for us. Probably not next maintenance, but possibly the one after that.

Managed to beat Gabranth thanks to my new Vaan AASB with his HA.

Still took a few hours worth of attempts, but I'm glad that this one's now done. 6 more to go.

I used my ticket on XII and got a pretty nice Larsa LMR, a dupe Basch AOSB, and most importantly Vaan's AASB(2 I think, IC thief and en-wind every 2 actions)

Time to bash my head against Gabranth.

I haven't even done that one yet, and I doubt I will be able to beat him before the mission goes away. Having to redo V and VII is bad enough. IX will probably be ok at least.

I used my ticket on XII and got Fran's CSB 2.5 (and Basch AOSB, but whatever).
She's not quite my white whale Laguna, but she's the next best thing, so that was a major win for my ice teams.

So now I face the same problem with her and the XII banner that I already faced with Galuf and the V banner. I want to pull there to improve her even further, but I need 500 mythril before the end of fest for Rem's Sync.

I guess I'll have to try it.

It's not like I can afford to spend any mythril now regardless, since I need 180 more mythril before the end of banner 5.

I mean, he's better than Machina either way, right? At least he can imperil, and I have his AASB1, even if it's quite terrible.
Besides, people have been killing Earth-weak Odin for a few months now, so his Sync and AASB2 really shouldn't be necessary.

Just got Galuf's CSB from the daily. That's my biggest daily win by far from this campaign (previous bests were a dupe AASB, a couple AOSBs and decent, but non-essential LMRs or Glints), and I doubt anything will top this in the remaining 10 days.

Also XII: Vaan BSB (dupe) and Ashe OSB.

I did II a lot recently, until I finally got the sub-30, so that one's still pretty fresh on my mind. Should be able to re-master that pretty easily.

On the other hand, the campaign is pretty long, so I just might be able to get mastery on 2 new DBs before it ends, especially with a fest before the end.

Used my new Ysayle AASB to take down the IVX DB with a mage team of Alphi, Papalymo and Ysayle, all with AASBs, supported by Cait AASB, healed by Yshtola's BUSB.

I couldn't crack the sub 30, but I'll take my 35 second win for now.

Welp, there go another 100 mythril on my Laguna CSB chase. I've lost track of the total amount, but it has to be more than 500 mythril at this point, not to mention lots of tickets on VIII or Ice banners.

1/11 both times, Edea CSB and Ysayle AASB.
Both were new and that Ysayle AASB was a major want too, so I'm not too disappointed.

If I want to have 500 mythril for anniversary, I have to stop here.

I kinda needed Wol to have Banishing Strike for the Dispel, so he couldn't play the Entrust bot that well.
Also, dps kinda has to take a break during Gilgamesh's Def&Res buff regardless, so there's little point to an entrust bot. Unless I could end phase 1 before the buff, I dunno.
I used that time to cast soul break entries with Meia and Matoya, as well as refresh chain, so they could start the pain after the buff ran out.

Got my last Gilgamesh (I) done with a mage team.
Meia (AASB+AOSB) and Matoya (USB, AASB+AOSB) with some support from Cait Sith AASB2 got the job done, even without spending 6* motes on Meia. Matoya was already 6* moted because I used her on magic Leviathan.

I ran Wol with AASB as a third dps, but that was strictly for a lack of another option. It was either him or WoL, not sure who was less bad between those two. I don't think he ever broke 10k with a single hit.

I was worried about Sarah as my healer, since she was stuck with her BSB, but with the additional healing from Cait Sith, it was enough. I just had to make sure to remove the Sap to avoid death after the phase transition.

After getting those 4 Honing Scrolls from the Cardia campaign, I honed Cait Sith's AASB to rank. I hope I don't regret this.

Also pulled 3 5*s already, Steiner Unique, Noctis Glint, and a Relm LMR dupe

IV - 2 dupes (Edge AASB and Glint+)
V - 6 dupes (Galuf AASB, Kelger AASB, Xezat AOSB, Kelger AOSB, Lenna Glint+, Kelger Glint+)
VII - 3 dupes (Aerith AASB, Rufus AASB, Zack Glint+)
VIII - 7 dupes (Squall AASB, Fujin AASB, Seifer AASB, Fujin AOSB, Irvine CSB, Squall Glint+, Zell Glint+)
X - 5 dupes (Tidus AASB, Rikku AASB, Seymour AASB, Lulu USB, Rikku Glint)

IV - Based on dupes, I should probably go for IV, but I have sub-30'd its DB already.
VII - Also fairly low on the dupe count, but apart from Aerith and Zack, the banner is full of B-tier characters in a realm with too many top-tier characters.
V - Absolutely too many dupes and DB is sub-30'd. Would love that Lenna Sync+AASB though, since I have her other AASB and the very good BUSB.
VIII - Dupe city. I think this one's a hard pass. Other than Squall Sync, not much of interest.
X - I don't see myself using any of the missing relics, apart from Tidus Sync.

I feel like I'm leaning towards IV, because Edge Sync feels like the absolute best relic on either banner, even if the other stuff won't help that much. Some people like Edward AASB for support, but I'm not sure he makes the cut compared to other support option.

Phew, that bastard is finally down. I feel like I should be faster than this, but I really don't care enough to try for a faster clear at this point.

Main changes I made to my previous attempts were:
- Noctis casts the first chain right away. Well, on his second turn actually. Lilisette casts the second chain around the 17 second mark (IC after an Ignis BSB cmd 2)
- DMT on Ignis, and use his BSB right away to massively improve Gladio and Noctis dps (2cmd 2 on Gladio, then cmd 1, cmd 2 on Noctis, cmd 2 on Lili). Only after all the correct buffs were applied, did he switch to his Sync
- Gladio switched his RM to TGM. With the Ignis buff package, he was still easily reaching 19,999 per hit with his HA, even at fairly low chain count.

I spent 2 hours on DB Ifrit yesterday and I managed 90%, but I agree: he hurts, a lot.

I don't think I can take him out in a single chain, which means I need to stagger my dps, and the timing isn't easy to figure out. I picked up Gladio's SSB from the lens shop (Last Stand and Boostga), which seems absolutely necessary if your Iris doesn't have Last Stand. When I tried a 1-chain approach, I skipped the phase 2 Overstrike move, but I can't do that if I stagger my dps.

Used both tickets on VI.

That could have gone better.

All 8 Omegas done. Not too hard, but not so easy that I could just steamroll them all either. I wish we had more content of this difficulty.

Fire-weak was surprisingly one of the worst. I ran Balthiers Chain and he couldn't even keep up with all that dampen Fire. Looking back after doing them all, I should have just gone fire magic and torn him a new one through the dampens.
Dark-weak was the other major pita. I couldn't handle the statuses with Aerith+Tyro as healer-support combo. I after I switched Tyro out for good old trusty Larsa, I got a fairly comfortable win.
I was worried about Ice-weak, since Serah with only her CSB and an imperil BSB isn't exactly an ideal chain holder, but my mage team supported by Cait AASB just kept the damage high despite his massive dampen Ice.
Others were mostly unremarkable.

I used 1 ticket on XIV (Papa AASB and Alphi Glint+) and the second one on VI (Terra Wind USB, Celes Double Spellblade USB, 2 dupe 5*s)

Happy with the XIV draw. VI could have been better, but it's fine.

I'vd been making some more progress on Dreambreakers.

This one could have easily been a sub-40. I mistimed Hilda's Dispel at the start of phase 3, which easily cost me those 1:09 seconds.

Not sure about sub-30 though. Maybe with an Odin deck (I'll get to that some day, I guess), or if I honed Cait's AASB.
