It's banner-refresh time.
I don't have ghe mythril to pull all of them right away, but I'll get to the remaining ones soon enough.

For now, I did all elemental banners and realms "core" - VII, also used the 2 tickets on VIII, which has 4 Syncs in the pool.

Highlights so far:
New Chains: Ramza, Paine (though I already have Rikku's)
New AASBs: Snow, Quina, Wakka, Meia, Luna, Edea
New Sync: Ashe

I finally got my first Ifrit kill.
Goddammit, that guy is awful. So much damage. Characters with 6 or more pain are not easy to keep alive. And that fucking Berserk is such a pain in the ass to deal with.

Now, to do this 3 more times.

I did a few attempts on Ifrit myself, and jeez, that's a pain of fight. I'm convinced I have the tech to take him down, but surviving his massive damage is not an easy task.

At least I got a win against Transcendant Shadowsmith. That guy has a lot of HP to chew through, but I ran double healer, so his offense was manageable.

Maybe I should consider a double healer team for Ifrit too.

After getting Titan and skipping Ramuh, I managed to down Leviathan with my physical lightning tech, without picking Claire's AASB from the 100 mythril pick. Previously I had only managed to get to ~30%, but the free rage breaking from a 6 * magicite helps a lot more than I expected.

Since I don't have a direct need for Claire's AASB anymore, I picked Tidus AASB instead. Pretty confident I have enough to do Ifrit now.

I killed ice-weak Odin. I figured with 2 FFVIII AASBs (Squall and Rinoa) and Irvine's realm chain, that should be good enough.

Irvine was pretty much dead weight outside of the chain. I feel like Fran's free chain would have actually been better. At least she could imperil.

Either way, a win's a win.

I'm slowly playing catch-up after ignoring end-game content for a while. I've finally entered the 6* magicite wheel with my first Titan kill. It took a few tries, but it really wasn't that bad, even without any en-wind glints.

What do people inherit on 6*s? Double Health Boon? Spell/Blade Wards? Healing Boons? Empower element?

Free draws gave me a dupe Terra AASB, a new Raines AASB, Lenna's Glint+, a few USBs that I'm unlikely to use much (Mog, Gaffgarion, Enna Kros), and some useless Glints/LMRs/dupes

I also pulled on the "Buy 2, get a free AASB" banner and got a few things that will be very useful: Rufus w-cast, Terra Glint and, my personal grand prize on the banner, TGC AASB.

I don't need an auto-setup for each magicite, just a single one will do. I picked Famfrit since my physical lightning is kind of busted, and Famfrit's pretty harmless to begin with.

That means I only have I and XI left.

You should be fine if you just rearrange your characters.

Put your best dps in the middle (TGC or Firion), Elarra is wasted there. Character 3 skips the blind and the first 5 second doom. This allows them to keep dps-ing a bit longer. Use OSBs with characters 2 and 4 after Blind hits them.

I'd put Elarra in spot 1 or 5, as those get hit the most early, so she builds more bar to speed up the party.

Don't bother with any mitigation, his damage is laughable (not to mention, 100% piercing).
Run Fabula Raider or Mage, if you've already managed a win.

I got a dupe Laguna USB (not the ice gun I wanted to see), Celes USB2 (ice clone of Marche USB) and two new BSBs.

I finally got the II Torment sub-30d after getting my Emperor (with AASB) and Minwu to 100 magia.

Frankly, the more torments I do, the less I can understand how people have been sub-30ing these on release, without magia, awakenings, or modern magicite decks.

My sub-30 have all been achieved after getting at least 1 AASB in the corresponding realm... well, except VII, but that one has AASB-level USBs.

Congrats on the win.

OK is not very useful here, since he only provides the crit-fix and Hastega, with Galuf's chain present.

If you have Tyro's Godwall or USB4, I'd use either one instead, and have him Wrath+Entrust to Aerith for more USB2 spam and quickcast. Even if you don't have Tyro's USBs, I think I'd switch OK to entrust-bot, and share Protectga and Shellga between Galuf and Aerith instead.

I was on the fence about the 25 mythril LD. The Glint/LMR draw has 8% chance for a 6* Glint, 6* for 5* Glints or LMRs.

Since many 6* glints are great and with guaranteed 2 relics, I went for it, and I'm glad I did:

Gogo V Glint+ (empowered en-water)
Zack Glint+ (free imperil wind)
Noel Glint+ (free imperil ice)

I pulled on VI and got Shadow's Glint. It's new, for a character I occasionally use, and not an awful, dated BSB. I suppose I can't complain about that for 5 myth.

I guess banner 3 still looks best, even though Rikku CSB and Alph Glint are dupes. Alph AASB is a relic I'd like to have, so the changes are pretty balanced.
