I don't think Thrall is bad yet. Garrosh is probably not bad either, just the archetypes are taking a while to develop like Warrior generally does

I think the weakest might be Mage or even Rogue.

it's true uther is a DK that literally loses to a common neutral 2-drop (acidic swamp ooze)

and honestly if you can't kill at least one 2/2 every turn or every other turn, you weren't going to win the game anyway.

Valeera is cool but the fact she doesn't affect the board hurts her a bit. Plus Dagger is one of the best hero powers

if what everyone says is true and aggro will resurface in a couple weeks, I see anduin getting his ass handed to him again and again by it. too early to tell though

but yeah, the battlecry will basically do nothing and the hero power is really only effective if you have the 0 cost. just gets his face eaten most of the time

Especially since you can just tech the list and make it less greedy

the deck I've been playing with is midrange at its fastest but usually winning around turn 13-15, and there have been plenty of games where if a priest doesn't draw (from my deck) magnificently I'm killing them on turn 8.

granted I'm not in the top tier but I just want to hear your reasoning on that one

I meant you can just tech the highlander list and make it more anti-aggro based. It's the decklist itself you can build differently to combat aggro.

Like, run both oozes, greater healing potion, doomsayer, rat, tar creeper etc.

Meanwhile Mid Hunter has traditionally suffered against aggro (Hence why its most historic bad matchup is Face Hunter) and I'm not sure if Deathstalker Rexxar's 6 mana Deal 2 damage AOE is enough to keep it afloat.

the difference being when you play rexxar your aggro opponent is already down to like 15 health whereas anduin hasn't even touched them yet. and I'm not sure if "pay 2 extra mana to deal 2 damage each time you play a card" is enough to fend off a strong aggro deck.

Also if you're trying to keep raza in there for the free hero power, then you can't even run duplicates of your anti-aggro cards.

Anyway this got me thinking and I want to look at a spreadsheet or something of the zombeast combinations to get a feel for % chance of getting each effect. Mainly taunt and charge.

Well, of course but the win cons are different and the Priest can play defense against Aggro while Hunter if they don't have board... can struggle a lot. Like the Priest isn't gonna face race but they have a lot of sustain/defensive options so it becomes irrelevant

I think Priest has a higher winrate against Aggro Druid/Evolve Shaman/Pirate Warrior than Mid Hunter does too, which is pretty important.

But meh maybe I need experience with Rexxar first before I talk about him. >_>

It dies too easily if you can't protect it with taunts; and if you can protect it with taunts, you probably don't care too much about hero powers besides maybe Priest's. And it's still useless there because Priest has too much good access to Silences.

I was watching that one. Still fun to watch people obviously better than me even if RNG decided the outcome (the Shaman only lasted as long as he did because of Ulti's Sulfuras' target selection, even before the spell at the end).

It's less about skill and more about htime commitment and realizing when you need to make changes to your deck or switch decks entirely

honestly the power creep in this expansion is insane and possibly a bit out of control. this might be a bad meta for new players or f2p players because the only ones who actually have access to the large amount of broken new cards on the playing field are people who could spend a lot of money on packs up front.
