I think you overestimate you ability to get your R/one shot the carry off before you're dead.

I know burst like the back of my hand. If an enemy is under 500 HP and eve ganks, I get a doublekill, and that's usually how my deaths to her went down: I got ganked by a bait, killed during the CC, and that was that. If my pre-queued R goes off, however, I win the fight.

There's one character with whom I absolutely crush, and everybody else I play infrequently. Why would I NOT talk from the viewpoint I know the most about? I know other champions very well, but my play experience is vastly lopsided in favor of Morde. What's wrong about that?

I'm just saying I don't think you have the reflexes to react to a proper Eve gank especially with an ability you actually have to aim and not some AoE thing or flash. Especially not with your ping. Usually a good Eve gank involved the target being dead before the stun wears off, which was <= 1-2 seconds.

Every single teamfight was just me healing and watching Mao root someone and then have 'Plank, Veig and Vayne melt the enemy team. Granted, it was Olaf, Xin, Tryn, Teemo and Shen. Also granted, Xin ragequit mid-game, and Tryn ragequit after the 7th time he got murdered, and after we got bot inhib, but still. >_>'

Amusingly though you'd probably be less useful than the Heimerdinger that actually has a more balanced build but jeez you'd mulch buildings like no one's business.

Just had a crazy game.


By the way, I did have boots, I just sold them late in the game for more room for items, and even then I died at the final push with over 4000 gold. Was this a good item build? I almost grabbed Banshee's Veil over Guardian Angel, but I ended up going with it because I feared Tryndamere more than anyone else on the enemy team.

I rarely get to say I carried a team, but except for my team's Zilean, who was absolutely amazing (and had more minion kills than Vlad and Akali?!), I was the only competent player on my team. That is something I never say. I love free week heavy teams when they're the enemy team, but we had an Akali and a Vlad who hadn't even used them in bot games yet. It didn't help that our Vlad spoke Spanish and our Nunu spoke Portugese (I am completely serious). By the way, Nunu may have died a lot and done almost nothing during team fights, but at least he could draw attention to himself before he died and allow me to murder everything, so I respect that.

We should have lost, even with the amazing Zilean, but the enemy team had three free week characters and only one competent player, the Tryndamere. All of my deaths except one were to him, the last being to a truly amazing Ezreal ult across half the map (it was kind of awe worthy, I confess). The result of one team having two useful players and the other team having one useful player? An incredibly slow game that took forever to resolve, in which Tryndamere, Zilean, and I got fed beyond fed (though why Zilean kept his Doran's Ring by that point I do not know) and everyone else ran around like dumbasses. Half the time Akali tried to engage three-on-one and then just hit her invisbility and stood there because if she moved, she'd get killed, and no one on the enemy team bought oracle's or wards or anything.

The only reason we won was that the enemy Jarvan inexplicably built tank Jarvan even though they had a Shen, so when he ulted me or used that annoying rush forward move, I actually defeated him every single time. If he had been able to kill me even a few times, my team would have collapsed during the ensuing team fights.

Oh, absolutely, but that's why I'm specifically discussing Morde and not, say, Ashe - Morde has the good ol' shield to basically give him a 500 HP buffer at 9 or so, scaling to twice that at max level. Against a tanky man like Morde or Xin (assuming the Xin has decently high health and you have no Sheen yet), either the carry or both gankers will die. This is me arguing a niche case, not the rule, that's all. :P

I generally don't find the mobility lost from selling the boots to be worth losing the boots even lategame when you can replace them with like a 2000 gp item. There are exceptions like possibly if you're running teleport/ghost and your champ has a global teleport ult or something but yeah.

The mobility helping you push towers and stuff is kinda invaluable.

Granted MF isn't completely slow with no boots if strut is maxed and you've got two PDs so I guess it was probably a good move. Your opponents were stacking armor so the anti armor thing was needed. And yeah GA is a good solution to tyrn.

Pshaw, as if! It was a very even match, and I was gaining on you because my armor kept increasing. You had the edge from levels 1 to 4, but afterwards it started to become my show more and more until Ness happened. ;)

I hate it when everyone on your team goes into fights 2v3 with the other 2 MIA (who stunningly pop out of the bush to kill them) and get pissed at me (vayne) for not ever joining teamfights

sorry guys I'm not keen on suiciding, I'll do what I do best which is not die as much as possible while letting someone else get focused so I can get 3 shots off before I get facerolled

also, someone else picking a competent tank every once in a while would be a nice change. I appreciate it when someone else plays the tank so I can play a champ that does damage for a change, but I'd really much rather you just tell us you suck at it so we can just dodge and not waste an hour of our lives

also, I'm not sure where the pantheon hate is coming from

not too long ago I was rolling with him in a duo-queue with my friend, and panth hasn't gotten any nerfs since then

Twitch literally makes both my own team and the enemy team turn into chickens with their heads cut off. Like... I'll show up and attack Vayne twice. She'll FLASH away, for no reason. She just had to step back a few steps. Then, I'll show up again to attack vayne a bit later to do a bit more damage and Malzahar on my team FLASHES to us and does absolutely nothing because he's still not in range. All the while I have both summoners and am just ???

I then made their bot shen start to roam and he seemed quite confused at what to do so our Malphite destroyed Blitzcrank by himself bottom??

Either way, I usually make games go crazy and I find it quite odd that nearly every time I pick Twitch, someone on my team will choose Kat, trying to troll me for my pick? I dunno, I guess it's worked...
