If Karma always worked the way it should, your decision (which is absolutely the correct one) would make your aunt perfectly healthy and she would eventually die happy and in no pain probably in her 90s. I know you're conservative and for the most part I respect your viewpoints (and there are probably some that I even agree with), but when it comes to religion-charged issues, the right just plain has it wrong. You shouldn't feel guilty or angry at yourself for doing what is right even if you've been taught it's wrong. You should be proud of yourself for having the courage to make such a difficult decision that goes against what you believe and for having an open enough mind to know that it is the best (or least bad) option on the table at this point... And don't let other pro-lifers put you down or act like they know better than you. If they don't understand, they obviously don't care about you or your girlfriend and certainly do not have either of your best interests in mind...
