Eh, I don't think so, but I'd have to re-watch it again. I do know, however, that they very explicitly cannot actively locate something outside of space and time on their own. That's why the separate anti-spiral universe was such a big deal. No matter how powerful they were, they couldn't find it. Which assured the anti-spiral victory in the past war.
That's also why the fake Nia thing was such a big problem. Since they couldn't find it on their own, they needed to lock onto Nia's ring to get to the anti-spiral universe. But the fake Nia interfered, preventing them from doing so. If they could accurately locate things outside space and time, they would have been able to ignore all that and go straight to the anti-spiral universe with no trouble. -- Dying breath, light my blade and sing in shadow! Still though who is too say they wouldn't have found Nina without the ring? Spiral power is all about going against the odds and something that is 0% possible they make 100%. I know nina ring is how it played out but who is to say they wouldn't have found her anyway?
