Fallacia 01/09/12 10:38:00 PM #363:	When you consider that the roles you're given are meant to challenge you to better yourself according to the plot, the roles you're given and the abilities that likely come with them would fully test both your strengths and character flaws. While I don't give much credit to astrology or horoscopes, the level to which this was detailed and thought through is on an impressively similar level to that. The difference is that since this one actually is based entirely on personality traits, it does a better job at identifying someone for those roles. Even knowing that the actual tests and personality listings were made for separate (New Age from the looks of it) reasons, being able to make this entire game based on that was quite ingenious. That game was actually really well thought out, at least from my perspective. For me, I'm about as much of an "Investigator" as you can get with my strongest qualities being my lack of liveliness, massive paranoia (I'm paranoid, OCD, and majorly phobic), and perfectionism beyond any healthy levels, but am so over-saturated with qualities that come from trying to help others and being so much of a warm and empathetic "people person" in spite of being such a recluse that the role of Seer of Life would be the best fit for my strengths while also being the greatest challenge for my flaws. While I had trouble determining whether I fell in the average or unhealthy (Life vs Space as conflicting results), What we know about Seers is that their roles tend to be both literal and metaphorical with the depth of the abilities. Seer of Light (Luck) sees the paths to fortune. Seer of Mind (I was hoping for this as it also would have been quite apt) can see the resulting consequences of decisions made by others. Seer of Life has a couple of options that I can see. Whereas Rose sees luck consequential to a decisive action (Seer of Light) and Terezi sees consequence as result of various decisions (Seer of Mind), would a Seer of Life see life consequential to endeavor? Being a seer means guiding others, so I could definitely see it as being someone in charge of guiding others toward a path that ends with the most of them remaining alive... though technically, Terezi should have been able to do the same in spite of all of the corpses that kept piling up around Dave. The funny part to me is that even though the title changes, the end result does not. Only now instead of seeing "the path in which the most people would stay alive," it instead just ends up being "the path which holds doom consequential to action." While "doom" and "death" aren't necessarily the same thing, it would be similar enough in this context that it would likely have the same results. Only this time instead of seeing multiple paths or a single path that brings about life, it's instead seeing multiple paths (preferably avoided) that end in doom. Because of the altered methods of 100-Anxiety and 100-Tension for those aspects, it would actually make Doom and Rage among the more difficult for rational people to achieve. Fallacia 01/10/12 9:06:00 PM #380:	Well, if you want to get creative with interpretations, a "Mage of Life" that "gives life" to those without it could just as easily be pretty words to disguise that they're really just necromancers that animate the dead to do their bidding. I'd certainly think that a Mage of Doom (like Sollux) upon reaching God Tier would use magic that dooms others in a fashion similar to black mages, Mage of Rage would just go Kefka on everything, and a Mage of Light would likely cast spells affecting the targets luck. If we assume that a "Mage" class is primarily offensive as well, necromancy to animate a foe seems much more offensive than just bringing it back to life. Of course, the entire thing is just speculation on my part based on what I've seen thus far, but those are some interpretations that I could see being possible assuming a Mage of Life wouldn't just go around casting spells that make people either... more or alive or much less... dead.
