I'm probably thinking too much into this but is everybody milking the Muamba disaster for their own purposes already? Cech of all people trying to take non-existent credit for Fabrice's improving condition? Just leave poor Fabrice alone already.
Funny seeing 11 men desperately hold out against 9, but man, Madrid are blowing it. As well as the Clasico, they still need to go away to Bilbao, Osasuna and Atletico, and play Valencia at home...

For all their attempted choking I just couldn't see them collapsing that hard, if they did job such a lead to Barca that'll be a swift end for Mourinho.
Yeah they still have to play Barca, a game they will probably lose so that cuts the lead to what..3 points? I can definitely see Barcelona finishing on top. I don't like Barca at all, but seeing 'The special one' choke so badly is just too awesome
You mean Madrid winning wouldn't be boring? no team has won La Liga more than Madrid. The real fun would be a third team, like Valencia maybe winning. But Real Madrid?..its always been either Madrid or Barca. Boring either way.
I want madrid to win by virtue of it being important for the league and all of europe that jose isn't sacked. And by god he will be if he jobs a 10 point lead, you don't do that at Madrid and get away with it.
It'd be bad for everyone if Barca began to dominate, which I think they would if the 2nd best team was managed by anyone else.

From: do_ob_tpkillr | #275 Just realized how good last night's results have been for the Magpies. If Chelsea jobs to Tottenham and we beat West Bromwich, we'll be fifth.
I would rather see a draw, but if there's to be a winner I want it to be Chelsea.
We have to dismantle Villa, though.

From: Ayvuir | #280 West Brom are in cracking form, wouldn't be surprised if we lose there. Hoping of course we don't as Tottenham can definately beat Chelski.
Dunno on that one. On current form I'd say Chelsea are the favorites at home. Barely losing at $ity is much better than needing a late equalizer at home against Stoke.

Holy **** the London derby is going to begin in a few hours. I've kind of wondered what time is it in America when the European (Champs League, BPL, Serie A, Europa, etc) games kicks off but I'm too lazy to do math.
I just watched 45 minutes of that. If that goal mouth scramble hadn't happened at the end there would've been no shots on target at all (and only two real shots, both from Bale, both from outside the box, neither anywhere near the goal).
I did get to hear Gary Neville say "shuds stowing" though. Haha.

I still haven't decided who I want to win this game. If Spurs win, I might be able to mentally give up on 4th place and concentrate on 5th - but... it's still possible you know. So maybe if Chelsea win we can still get 4th. But a draw means 4th is still there while making 5th more difficult at the same time. If we give up on 4th than you root for Spurs. But if we're going to overtake them both and get 4th - then we want Chelsea to win.
Here's hoping Bolton holds on to that lead till end game. It'd be kind of a feel good thing if Bolton survives the drop. Can't wait to see Blackburn relegated to show those dumbass chicken sellers what terrible owners they are.
Really don't know what is going on at Liverpool. They're always a match for any of the top teams, but this season has just been addled with poor results against everyone else. Either they dominate teams but can't convert chances, or they're just desperately below par, like against Wigan today. I can't help but feel things would have been even worse if the defence hadn't been so good for the majority of the season. Ever since Agger got injured again, they've looked average.
