i'm still glad the brought over DMW. i liked the show, the ending was uh... not that good, but it started off really interesting and creepy. show starts with the right kind of vibe for itself and the powers are awesome (save for the lead character, alas).

casshern getting love also pleases me. it's a good block of newer stuff they've got there.

They haven't. The probably don't have the money for it. FUNimation has stated that they want the rights to it badly. Perhaps at some point if that happens, since Toonami is interested in it and is working together with FUNi quite nicely. Though in the near future, not happening.

With Toei putting out a new Sailor Moon series next year, they might be willing to license the rights to the old series back out to an American company to hype up interest. No guarantees but it is an intriguing possibility.

I was excited when I first saw this topic, but then I saw what anime they actually had here and it's either stuff that I haven't even heard of--a rarity for someone who spends as much time on TV Tropes as I do--or stuff I already know to be s***. And Cowboy Bebop which has been in reruns on adult swim for over a decade despite having only 26 episodes.

Really good episode, but I still prefer the one where he slaughters all the innocents. That was some heavy s***! Same deal with that one with the dying presumably last of the humans.
