Nah, this Iroh's face is way more square and proportional and neat. Even without the scar, Zuko would've had that ragged hair and messier appearance.

My point is that his voice could've been a little more noble and enunciated or something to reflect his appearance, instead of the exact same voice on a different face.

Yeah, I would expect the general of the army to sound a little bit more refined. Make the voice sound similar, sure, but not exactly the same.

I for one, am fine with Dante Basco, but I would've liked for him to have varied his delivery for Iroh- to make his voice deeper and more... refined isn't exactly the word I'm looking for. Authoritative? Yeah, that'd be cool.

After all, Iroh looks a bit older than Zuko was during his journey and is in a respected position as opposed to being an outcast who few people care about. I would expect the voice to reflect that.

I wish Jinora was a few years older and part of Team Avatar. I was actually hoping she would show up and help Lin, but I was pretty disappointed by what happened. I mean these chi blockers routinely take out Korra, Mako, and Bolin, and were wearing down Lin, but just stood there and got taken out like a bunch of bowling pins?


It woulda been cool to see Jinora show up and show some degree of competency, but all 3 showing up and wining because the chi blockers suddenly forgot that moving is an option was lame.

I would like more airbending, yeah, even though what Tenzin does is awesome. That's why I want Korra to hurry up and learn to do it, so that she can use it more often. Almost all the chi blocker attacks can be disabled with airbending, too.

It's actually kind of clever how badly Tenzin always beats up on the Equalists. Considering that they wouldn't be particularly well prepared for airbending what with the fact that there's like four in the entire world.

I don't know if the writers did it on purpose, but I like it.

Fire Nation had airships 70 years ago and the general of the United Forces is a descendant of the Fire Lord so probably

- I think everyone knew Amon's big attack was coming sooner or later. Echoes of Ozai in the way he watched on amid a fleet of airships. I do wonder if they might've been better off dropping the Tarrlok sequence so we could have had this earlier. I can imagine some really tense "subterfuge" episodes might have been possible for Team Avatar while Amon's crew were in control of the city.

- I'd been saying for some time that it'd be Lin or Tenzin who would be the first big "good" casualty of Amon, but during this episode I suspected it'd be Tenzin. I thought he'd lose his bending but it'd be offset with the hope of a new child. Instead it was Lin's turn.

- Airbending returns to great effect. Equalists can't even deal with the children's use. Jinora would've been a better Team Avatar member than Asami if she'd just been a couple of years older, IMO. Enjoy her character a lot.

- Iroh is introduced while commanding a ship, just like Zuko once was, only now it's an armada instead of a expelled vessel. Looking forward to the big fight.

- Had to laugh at Mako's efforts to shut up Asami with "oh, let's just forget about this for now". Slight misreading of the situation there, pal. I wonder what Asami will do during the finale... it could have pretty serious consequences if her actions resulted in Mako ending up in the hands of Amon.

- Can't wait for the finale.

I kind of agree with this. Jin showing up right when Lin got into trouble was badass and impressive and was really all they needed. They sort of redeemed it with some of the stuff that Meelo pulled of, but then it still begs the question "why were the chi blockers useless against kids?".

The Equalists weren't prepared to deal with airbebender fighting techniques- especially not that fartbending. That guy couldn't have even seen it coming. It would've been a lot better if a few of them actually ran from Ikki's air scooter and then got knocked over like bowling pins instead of just standing there with their thumbs up their asses though.

Airbending kids were awesome. Though this does cause a problem for how Tenzin always gets taken out. Is he being pulled down by trying to help the other benders?

As a master Airbender should be better then his still training kids.

The kids' fighting styles reminded me WAY more of Aang, as opposed to Tenzin who actually has a pretty different style.

Yeah I'll admit, I don't really like the other kids at all but Jinora is actually kinda bad ass. Like you guys said, if only she was a few years older. She would literally curb stomp Asami in the characterization department. I mean, she actually has a personality.

But I do like Asami more after that last episode. It definitely solidified her above Mako.
