So while that was the last original film left of the canon, I still have a number of package films to view to complete the Disney canon (after watching Pooh later). These are Fun and Fancy Free (which arrives tomorrow), Make Mine Music (got another +1 from Netflix due to it being my first choice and not in local stock), Melody Time (debating whether I should even bother, but at this point not watching the last canon animation would be a little dumb on my part) and Saludos Amigos/Three Caballeros.

None of these may even appear at all on my topic (slight chance for one character out of all of these films) but for completion purposes... following that, it will be time to dive into the Disney sequel catalog that I haven't tackled yet. Pixar's line of films will follow that.

It's fun for like five minutes and then it just gets really frustrating. I got a game over riding Phillipe through the snow and there's no way I want to go through all of those puzzles again right now. <_<

Make Mine Music, Melody Time and Saludos Amigos/Three Caballeros out of the official canon. Then several sequels (I've watched some intermittently so far, but there's still a fair number for me to see yet), Pixar's entire line of films and a few miscellaneous live action films.

And of course relevant to my list Disney animated series. Still a fair bit of work left in this.

Aww yeah, BatB: Belle's Quest finished. Now onto its counterpart, BatB: Roar of the Beast. Hopefully this game is more fun!

Have Saludos/Caballeros to watch later, and then once Melody Time (on a delay) is sent I'll be done with canon. Also watched Return of Jafar earlier, and finished up another animated series villain. Getting closer to starting! I'm hoping in July some time, unsure if I will include Brave (if its applicable) in my list since I'm not a fan of going to movies (especially an animated one) by myself.

So here's something funny I never did share

As some of you noticed, mnk and I had save deals since near the start of the contest. One of the deals was that I save Miss Spider for him. Unaware of who she was, I decided to look it up. Instead of checking the Disney wiki, I googled "Miss Spider", and found a bunch of pictures of this thing



At the time I thought like "oh i didnt know that was Disney", and just shrugged it off and never questioned why mnk would want that thing safe. So for her entire life in the contest, I thought I was saving that character instead of the real Miss Spider until I randomly searched her on the Disney wiki long after her elimination.

Sleeping Beauty is overrated.

Maleficent is literally the only character worth mentioning. Phillip is also decent compared to most Classic era princes, I kinda like him.

But good lord that like 20 minutes of Aurora singing in the woods was brutal. I almost fell asleep.

The second half was better with more Maleficent. But still not great. The fairies making everyone sleep was incredibly stupid. Why on earth would they do that? Maleficent could invade their kingdom with everyone asleep! Ugh.

It was serviceable, actually. Unlike many sequels you can't really tell it's "cheaper" or not made for theatres. While they reused a song here and there, Phil Collins did record new material especially for the sequel and it was pretty good, of course. I'll be watching Tarzan & Jane "movie" tomorrow, never seen that either. I haven't seen the series based on Tarzan very much either, not even a complete episode. It seems like there might be a villain I'd be interested in judging so I'll try to work that in with the series later on.

Oh, and Bambi II as well tomorrow. I don't think anyone has any of these though >_>

I've seen Bambi II actually! Friend Owl is even better in it than he was in the original! And without spoiling much let's just say his attitude toward a certain in-movie song is pure unadulterated perfection. And Ronno is a dick even as a kid. >_>

Scamp's Adventure is actually pretty cool! The plot is lolpredictable just like Brother Bear 2's but the characters are pretty lovable and the sequel doesn't s*** on any previously established characters. I'm looking at YOU, Simba's Pride! Thanks for making Simba a typical overbearing jerk dad!

Watched that one a couple of nights ago. Yeah, I wasn't a big fan of that portrayal of Simba much. The songs are pretty good in it at least, I think they honored it on that front (and the animation front is fine too).

I'm not sure if any of you collect or would be interested in collected them, but have any of you heard of Vinylmations >.>? I was gonna bring up a long time ago when a set called Furry Friends came out because it had Meeko in it. Thankfully I didn't because the set was sadly recalled because a large shipment went out with poor paint jobs =/. However a couple new sets have come out recently that you guys might like, namely the villains set that comes out today.

If you have no idea what Vinylmations are, basically they're 3 inch figures shaped like Mickey and various artist then create they're own designs. They come in blind boxes, so you don't know who your getting. I never had interest until around X-Mas 2010 when the first Villains set came out, because most of the sets are just random stuff, I only care about actually Disney chars. lol. Since then there's been two animation sets (with random chars.), three villains sets, a Toy Story set, A PotC, An Alice in Wonderland set, the Furry Friends set (which got called back ;.;). and a few weeks ago a set with random chars. that light up with a base to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Disney Store. Also a Nightmare Before X-Mas and Phineas and Ferb open box set (meaning you see who you get). And just some other random stuff, like I got Mickey and Minnie dressed up as the Frankenstein Monster and the Bride last Halloween >.>

So yeah, the point is I thought, especially with a couple villains in this set you guys adore you might be interested. It's a minor habit of mine since it's pricey, but I have a decent collection. If you are interested, I'd suggest going to your Disney Stores today because the light up ones at mine sold out in less then a week and while it was X-Mas time, the Villains 2 and Alice sets sold out quickly as well (I only got Yzma in the villains set ;.; lol). Well I'm off to my Disney store to see what they have. I might get the light up ones if they got a new shipment of them. I shall report my findings when I return because I know everyone will be interested who I get ;D lol.

Well I bought a Villain and a 25th. Got Madame Medusa -.-.... but I did get Buzz in the light up set, so I look forward to seeing how he looks >.>.

Those are freaking adorable! But you're right about it being pricey. $10 for one figure is kinda nuts. Having said that, I totally want that Smee one. Like immediately. Freaking adorable!
