Anyway Frollo essentially getting Bagheera'd toward the end of this contest made me realize he has a lot of haters and indifferenters. I'm not sure if he could win regardless of who I put him up with should he ever make it past third. My best shot at having a Top Ten fave actually win this thing would seem to be either Scar or Tigger.

And since I just got through with Scar as my #1, I've decided to give Tigger the pimp spot next contest! Woo! Beyond him at #1 and Jack at #6-10, I'm still not sure what I'm doing.

Frollo would have obliterated Tink. The only one she might have had a shot against in that final five was Shere Khan, and the chances of both of them making the finals over what was left was basically 0.

Khan being in the Final against anyone would have been better than what we got ;P

And this was the best Final out of the combinations :)

I just find Goofy winning boring to be honest. We already had two other "classics" win and then with Goofy winning it was just overly predictable as a result. The only worst thing that could happen would be Mickey Mouse winning the next contest.

This isn't to say I dislike Goofy or Mickey, it's just that they're... boring winners.

And no chance to that. Tink is too well known and would out casual him by far. Tink appears in every Disney film at the beginning and is essentially one of the faces of Disney.

I'll admit Frollo has more support than I thought he did for years, but I don't think he really could win in a final against most characters. That doesn't mean I will ever stop pushing him as far as he'll go every year though.

And not to say Goofy is a bad winner. He's cool. Just we've had some great winners I love more (Belle + the Ducks).

Tink has never been strong 1vs.1 on this board. In the two tournaments I ran, she lost to Chip (the chipmunk not the teacup) and Grumpy both in the first round. Not the strongest competition.

She does well in these contests because she has Doc and a few other users who like her well enough. That is usually enough to go pretty far, but not always a winning combination.

Normally I tend to be overly negative regarding the chances of my favorites, but this definitely isn't the case. Like Poke said, she's never once won a 1v1 match on this board (except maybe a couple against scrubs in darkx's contest. I don't remember). She literally lost to Grumpy and Chip handedly. Not to mention getting crushed by Goofy. She just doesn't have any 1v1 strength on this board. If it were a contest the entire nation participated in, sure, Tink would stomp. But here on B8 she's pretty weak 1v1.

It would depend on the contest, but last season Frollo would have beaten Tink. Most of the support was tied between Frollo and Goofy. Just like Belle and Scar this contest, whoever got out of the final three was winning.

If you're really serious about Aladdin next contest, I can postpone my Tigger thing until the contest after next. I feel like Tigger needs a strong finish but as popular as he is, he can get one any time. Aladdin though... his support is sporadic at best, but with a team of two we can DO THIS THING! :D

Aladdin will definitely be my number one next time. His bad performance here (past history considered) leaves a bad taste. I haven't decided who else is on my top five list, but it will probably include Goofy (da best).

Since it's Memorial Day and the mail isn't delivering, I don't have anything to watch today (outside of Narnia, which I still don't really want to do yet), I decided to track down relevant episodes of the Aladdin series. My search didn't go quite as well as I'd hoped... it has never been released on DVD and finding all the episodes on Youtube hasn't seemed to work. I decided to only hunt down the villain episodes I want to see most for my list. I decided to look for Mozenrath episodes first, but my search only went half well... he appears in nine episodes but I can't find all nine on Youtube.

Ahh... this is gonna take me some time with the animated series group. Even watching only the recurring villains' episodes, each of those groups is longer than the average Disney film is.

I just can't not include the animated series villains in my ranking topic though. I like a few of them enough to know excluding them will make for inaccuracies on my list, and it just feels wrong. I guess there's no rush or anything, but I'm just really excited to have the ranking topic up and running with write-ups and discussions.

Yep, Max's worst nightmare is literally becoming his father. Caaaan't say I blame him!

The goth chicks were totally the best part of After Today. And... everything except the awkward crotch shot was the best part of Stand Out.
