Phazon is more science-y than magical imo. Admittedly it's weird science and not really clear-cut so if you do see it as supernatural, I can't really fault you for it.

As for a ribbon, I think it definitely protects against mental degradation, but not damage.

Radiation seems pretty similar to Sap imo. Ribbon should work.

I mean if it splits a planet into two dimensions, and possesses and corrupts people, it's hard for me to say it's not verging on the magical side of things so glad we can compromise there.

As for the Ribbon I'm not saying it protects her from Damus attacks, but it should protect her from the after effects and exposure stuff. So she just needs to avoid walking in it.

People with unorthodox offenses or absolutely massive firepower, who can either dodge much, much better than Samus or outrange Damus and stay away from her tremendously corrosive Phazon. Damus vs Raziel is interesting, as Raziel's Soul Reaver will hit her where her enormous physical defense hype won't matter. Damus vs Kuja is also good because Kuja's main spell does percentile damage unaffected by MDEF, so it's basically a damage race - if he can escape her long enough to get off three or four Flarestars he wins, as he does vs most people, but if not he folds hard. Most 7/weeks (Archer, Vergil, Bayonetta, probably not Dante because his 'thing' isn't having absolutely overwhelming firepower) will kill her because they can dodge well enough to dunk Damus and their attacks do things like cut space or warp it, or inflict colossal damage. I could make a full list of dudes who I think beat her, but I feel like this illustrates the point well enough.

Okay, look.

Imagine for a moment you are in a broken down nuclear reactor, like Fukushima and you are currently experiencing radiation poisoning.

You gain about 1,000 mSv an hour. At 3 hours the person will die if untreated. At 10 hours+ this means you are
dead and there's nothing you can do about it.

On an alert scale of 1-7, this is a 5. Chernobyl is a 7.

So I ask you, is Phazon, a super radiation space magic poison more lethal per hour than Chernobyl? By any lore recollection it seems to put someone at 10k mSv just by getting close.

How does a L'Cie deal with this sort of potency? How does their resistance work against this?

I mean personally I'd take Diablo over Raziel any day of the week. So that's quite interesting. I'd probably give the Kuja fight to Damus though because with her clones and speed she could overwhelm him whilst he tries to cast.

Not sure who I'd take over Diablo v Kuja... Probably Diablo that teleport and his absurd physical strength and resistances give him the edge.

Dante v Damus would be pretty close though. Hmmmm.

Well, to me Diablo vs Raziel is like the ultimate 'counter matchup' because Raziel's health is directly tied to his absorption of souls. Diablo carries the souls of all hell within him...which means that he's a heal piñata to Raziel. If you don't agree with that interp though then yeah, that match is pretty interesting because Raziel really needs to hit and run Diablo.

Raziel VS Diablo is an interesting thread in my head, mostly due to plot reasons as D3 Diablo is an amalgamation of souls, after all.

So while Raziel holds within his hand the Wraith Blade should he not be able to cut from his body the six other evils which make up The Prime Evil?

Definitely possible, hypothetically at least. But I don't think it'd be as easy just hitting him with it, it'd have to be surgical strikes and I don't see him getting that kind of attack whilst dealing with all the shit Diablo can throw at him.

I would think poking Diablo with the Reaver would cause all manner of havoc in and of itself. But I also find Raziel's durability really suspect so I doubt it gets that far

I take Damus in a large terrain with multiple elevation levels where she can constantly get out of Diablo's range and clonespam/cloneheal.

In mid or close range Diablo absolutely routs. So "this terrain but with no phazon".

The bonus to vanille terrain is there is someone there that would give info on Damus as per the terrain write up, so I feel that helps a lot
