Nadia of blue water? I heard it's great but there is a series of episodes in the late teens that were done by a different director and are terrible. Ruins pacing and introduced dumb stuff. Haven't seen it myself though

Hero in PSO2 is absolutely broken. In 4 man groups, i constantly find myself doing 50-70% of the combined DPS. All the sword attacks have huge range, gun can unload a lot of damage very quickly, and talis is... it's nowhere near talis on techer classes. It's a fuckin weapon for once on its own. And they have access to the best shit tech classes have...

It's fun as balls so I'm gonna ride this train till they kick me off!!!

Although i will say the ending needed more time to cook since it felt rushed

I am an anime noob. I used to watch stuff like Fist of the North Star back when they were newly released on vhs. Ignored anime for years until I recently found myself curious about stuff like Dragonball and Naruto. Its beginner stuff but I'm enjoying what I'm seeing and have gotten many chuckles from Dragonball so far.

I just finished new game and I'm legitimately sad that it's over but then immediately much less sad since season 2 is currently airing. I'm gonna wait for it to finish airing and maybe even save it for a rainy day because this anime really lifts your spirits. Also Ko is the most attractive 25 old I can think of in anime. Something about her just does it for me. Helps that she is in prominent yuri bait with Rin (which is the username I use online everywhere but here) and is good at the only skill I suck at when it comes to making games (art).

It's hard to think how they could have done the show better (other than not having people working on a video game completely not knowing a bunch of stuff that I know but I realize its for the audience's benefit).

It's about a guy in the wild west, a skilled gunslinger, and renowned sheriff. But, he only got his skills because he thought ladies would love it and he wanted to be popular with women!
It's called Hoankan Evans no Uso: Dead or Love
It's pretty good.

You should check out Gun Blaze West. Its a 3 volume western manga. Its short but really good IMO and it was by the same guy who made Rurouni Kenshin and Buso Renkin; Nobuhiro Watsuki.

The only thing to know before going into Re;Birth 2 is that it's focused more on multiple endings. You can actually miss some if you don't know before hand how to get them.

I agree with both sentiment. Kimi no na wa's characters and plots are shallow, but it's still a cinematic masterpiece. It's no so much amnesia or time travel; They don't retain their experiences because it just felt like a dream to them. They don't time travel, it's shinto magic (explained by grandma) that connects everyone together

Gurren Lagann is so good. F the haters.

Only thing that pisses me off is them not over coming Nia's "death". The impossible is possible for team Dai Gurren. There should have been something Simon could do before she disappeared. Give her a little spiral injection, as crass as that sounds.

But seriously it doesn't matter how many times I rewatch it the same spots still get me. To name some, Kamina death, Kittan death (which actually has more impact for me than Kamina death after a few watches. Seeing him finally tap into the energy of the spiral is just too cool), when Simon and Yoko wake up from the dream, and various speeches in the last battle.

Also the additions to the last fight in the second movie compilation is so good

...sure, but it seems like they spend most of the movie remembering pretty much everything about the other, and then they sometimes just conveniently forget. and so do their cell phones apparently.

the most convenient explanation for everything is "shinto magic" but that doesn't make it any more satisfying. >_> Taki essentially went back in time to stop a disaster before it happened, smells like time travel to me.

Geez I haven't posted here in a while now, as always my crusade for watching new anime's continues, first off was Shuffle!, it ended up being pretty decent overall and it was nice seeing a MC that actually chooses a single girl rather then be an indecisive bitch like 99% of harem protagonists, overall it was a good 7/10.

Up next was Ore No Kanojo To Osananajimi and it started out okay but failed to build on the stereotypical characters and the ending was pretty lame, a 4/10 is about right for it

And now since I'm a little tired of harem shows I'm watching Hellsing Ultimate, I'm 3 episodes in so far and it's pretty great, I always enjoy vampire-themed shows and this one is pretty awesome so far

Going by MAL ratings (which is what I was doing) 7/10 is "good", good is how I would sum up the series which is why I gave it that rating, I would've given it a 6 if I only found it average

The most remarkable show that's under 7.0 on MAL in my opinion, is Mayoiga. It sits at a 5.8 because a lot of people didn't take too kindly to being trolled hard. It's a feeling I'm probably never going to experience again in anime.
