Speaking of Alex Jones, got an anecdotal question: am I alone when I say I've seen my fair share of Info Wars stickers on stop signs? I see them on vehicles too (sometimes with Confederate flags), but I see them the most as I go out into the more rural spots of my area.

how is the president doing something unconstitutional necessarily equal to "more government," though?

if the president would say "from now on all US government is state-level," that would technically be unconstitutional as the constitution is partly about the powers the federal government should have. from a libertarian perspective that would be a great thing for the president to do, though. states' rights was literally one of the main things ron paul used to campaign for when he was a candidate for the republicans.

I think equating Seph to Ulti is pretty unfair

Seph is atleast pretty consistent on where he stands, whether we agree with it or not. Sure, he trolls sometimes, but that's not really his specific gameplan. It's more of a "bonus" to him since we oppose his ideals and vice-versa.

Ulti literally doesn't have any stance other than whatever is opposite of us. He's a man with literally no backbone who gets his jollies by trolling and nothing more, yet then panics when he realizes his trolling may no longer work because people are ignoring him, and thus tries his "I'm good now I swear" acts. It's outright enabling him to actually reply to him, and he's not going to stop if he thinks people are listening.

I never consented to "never quoting ulti" and I wouldn't have done so if an effort had been made to impose such a thing on everyone here... so if he says something I feel like responding to, I am going to do so, and doing so without quoting him would inconvenience me and I'm not having that just because people (who are more often on the same side as I am in regard to ulti) have a problem with his word appearing on their screens.

Seph's trolling is basically like being a fan of a rival sports team. If you're a Steelers fan and they beat the Ravens, you're going to troll Ravens fans, and vice-versa. It may suck to be the one that lost/is being trolled, but you still get where it's coming from. His has atleast some modicum of belief behind it. I'm not sure I'd say that makes him "reasonable," but it puts him a tier above Ulti, for sure.

Each of the usual suspects has their own particular quirk that can often leave people stunned, but Ulti is a different level. He's the only one that fits into the "iradeemable" category alongside MWC. He's said things with both the intent to shock and with the intent to trick people into thinking he's changed that can't be taken back, the recent one in that latter category being quite possibly the worst of them all, considering the history of the board.

He's very selective about what he responds to and he does genuinely hold certain people in higher regard within those who are against him. He'll spew venomous shit at some people arguing against him, but won't have anything rude to say to others making the same point against him. Sometimes this means not responding at all, sometimes it means un-ultilike mild discussion or even friendly discussion with unexpected compliments. I've seen how he has gradually shifted his persona over the years, all the way back to like 2002/2003 when I first showed up here. Sure he baits people, but that's a two way street. In a way, he is an interesting training exercise.
