I'd say global warming deniers are the worst. If 99% of scientists around the globe are coming to the same conclusion, I trust them more than I trust corporate funded air heads.

I knew a guy who thought the moon landing was faked and another who wouldn't go outside if the contrails of jets formed an X.

No because these conspiracies are so very farfetched and complex, they only become plausible if you overlook every other logical, probable, measurable, and observable aspect. Basically, you have to live in a fantasy world and be completely ignorant to believe some of them.

Studies have shown that conspiracy theories are mostly believed by unsuccessful people. It's a way for people who feel inadequate to say, "hey I know something nobody else does!"

That's the general deal with any sort of "exclusive information". It's sort of a way to make it seem like you're above others in a way, even if that way doesn't matter.

I consider myself a conspiracy theorist, but everything I read is taken with a massive grain of salt. I try to find the truth not by what I want to believe, but instead by trying to eliminate false truth and analyzing that which cannot be eliminated.

Honestly surprised Zeus didn't try to take a steaming deuce on this topic. He sure tried to take a crap on me when I tried making a case for 9/11 being an inside job. I even referenced a similar JFK rhetoric in my post and he called me worse than Erik_P, which I thought was hilarious.

I can reflect on my post and acknowledge it might have been seen as extremely distasteful to make a claim like that on 9/11 itself, but let me tell you this: I'm after the truth. I think it's an insult to the memories of all of those lives not to look for the truth. I can see why it was offensive, but I just wasn't thinking of it that way at the time. I apologize to anyone I actually did offend from that. People make mistakes and I'm no different.

If you think the likelihood of 9/11 being a false-flag operation is an insane batshit claim, then you haven't conducted enough research. The Pentagon may have been attacked by missiles and covered up so they wouldn't look vulnerable. But I do not believe it was a government orchestrated event.

Isn't that the same thing? They needed to be attacked in order to get unanimous public support. Which 9/11 basically was. Only difference is the war that followed. One was just and one was greed. I can understand the sacrifice for a just war, but for pure greed and profit I don't.

The debate wasn't it was unfriended it was that they had all of their carriers (thanks for this info revelation 34) away during the attack.

Well if they moved all of their units form the base it be too obvious to the enemy. Just seemed like a military strategy to sacrifice some units for the greater good. They got the moral support and a reason to join the war. Just seems like something they do.

2. The government took down the plane that had allegedly been retaken but crashed during 9/11 and lied as a cover-up(which is honestly pretty justifiable if you ask me).
