Foolmo naturally calls anyone who speaks negatively about him stupid. It's pretty standard honestly. I've tried in the past to engage him about gaming because there was a time where he would converse pretty openly and produce interesting opinions that spurred me to further my gaming repertoire to firm up my own views, but then he really fell down the well of being pseudointellectual and pretty much killed my will to talk intelligently on the board. Which is sad, because I thought topics here helped me to develop my own beliefs and spend time reading articles and considering subjects that don't often come up in my daily life, but foolmo, just from my own point of view (so others can correct me if I'm wrong), really only wants to shut down people on the board in an effort to make himself feel better. I assume he saves his interest at learning about others and engaging them in positive social situations for "real life".

It's too bad, because I used to think foolmo would actually be a great user for discussion, but I've learned just how little he cares about anyone, and it bums me out a lot.

Of course, Corrik is another can of worms.

or maybe i just understand foolmo better than you do because i talk to him way more often? i frequently interact with him in the freedom topic and have done so for years. don't think i've ever seen you there.

also not sure what the sephy thing is about - there's plenty of times when i talk to him normally (when he brings up hip hop music or redlettermedia, for instance). i only attack him when he says stuff like "everyone who disagrees with me has asperger."

I had a discussion on the game design of a few Metroid games with foolmo recently, where we disagreed on certain aspects and nobody got mad. Only other times I've really ever seen him talk about video games was during all the BotW hype, where he made legitimate complaints that many people have, and everyone just called him a troll instead of having an actual argument to rebuttal with. I'd say his reactions were pretty fair.

It's not technically untrue. There's a big overlap between liberals and SJWs here, like anywhere else. Many of them in this topic took the position that is out of touch with reality. Lots of my topics purge because I almost don't post on weekends, but keep telling yourself I care about 500 topics like I'm a teenager again and this is my first year here, lol. Have spent probably 5 minutes on my account on twitter in the last 2 years... (And some more time reading Trump's tweets without bothering to log in, of course. :)) And if I was looking for acceptance, I'd be posting on right-wing forums, not here.
