Flynn had a better supporting cast--remember when Green Bay spent money on their receivers and O-Line (the Packers were 14-1 when he got his only start). He also had one game, rather than five.

I was pretty lukewarm overall on the first Netflix season but, through 4 of 6, this season is a huge improvement.

I mean, I still pay attention to sports, but I kind of agree in the sense that I don't have much desire to discuss them. It's basically the same thing every year - some cool stuff happens in sports and some shitty stuff happens. We've all been doing this for so long that I think everyone pretty much knows how everyone else will react to a given sports situation. I have more fun discussing video games and whatnot, since those still bring new experiences and I don't have as strong a read on everyone's opinions.

I'm the number one sports fan in the entire world.

I'm sure he'll have a tougher second year since teams will be doing research on him, but he makes good decisions on the field and he seems like a good leader and motivator for the team, so I'm not worried.

I suppose I watch very few games comparatively because I essentially have just watched the Chiefs plus some divisional teams and playoffs for the past few seasons

Man, Nintendo must not like having to eat the cost of Joycon repairs. I called and said I wanted to get my Joycon repaired and then they started taking me through all the obvious troubleshooting steps. Yes, I've updated my Switch from the first system version in the last ten months, thanks for asking. Eventually I got impatient and said I know this is a known hardware issue, and we got moving along.

I suppose some of that is just typical customer service type stuff. I hate how they have to ask you the most obvious questions. Why is it like that, do people really call customer service immediately without making a single troubleshooting attempt on their own? Every customer service call I've ever made is like 10% actually working on the problem because of this model.

I called and went though those same steps for a hardware issue on my switch. And of course it started working perfectly while on the call while they were trying to get me to recreate the error. It worked for a day and now it's worse than ever so I'll have to call in again.

They probably go through all those steps with ever call because people are idiots and 90% of the issues can be solved by quick troubleshooting stuff like restarting or updating

The one time I went through the motions of replacing a Nintendo console it was a 3DS and they were fast and helpful, but I remember thinking it sounded like the person hadn't heard of my problem before and it was very pronounced (freezing whenever I turned it on) so I couldn't have been making any mistakes with it.

I'm not saying 10/7/7 is bad. I'm just not convinced he's gonna be an all time great like everyone seems to be saying. And those percentages are abysmal regardless. No great that I'm aware of had such low FT and FG percentages even in their rookie year.
