Chidori can die there depending on some of the choices you make with Junpei during a certain period f time, and I'm pretty sure that's the canon outcome based on future Persona material. Not sure if the guide mentioned that at all.

Leon only P3-spoilers: Late November presumably refers to the event where you fight Chidori/Junpei is shot/Chidori sacrifices herself to save him/Junpei's persona evolves.

What you're talking about doesn't come into play until much later, though the flags are all before that point.

one of the nice things about watching Friends on Netflix as opposed to on syndication is that I don't have to worry about them skipping holiday episodes for no reason because the Thanksgiving episode is usually one of the best episodes every season

At a pure chapter to episode rate not really. The stories are a more episodic though which helps it be more conducive to filler padding.
