Nope, Wii U was the one Nintendo console I skipped.

I've never really looked around the 3DS eShop to see what kinds of games they have on there. I've only ever used it to buy Ace Attorney games.

So I've decided to start reading the Baccano light novels. I've actually bought a few of them already, but I just kept putting off reading them. It's kind of weird reading this first book because it's not going in the same order as the anime. I guess the anime blended several of the books together since perhaps the events happen concurrently.

I've been reading that first Attack on Titan manga, and I got to the part where they announce the top ten students in the training class.

Mikasa is #1, of course, and the next three are all friggin' Titans. Well, four, counting Eren, too, even though he hasn't "awakened" yet. I guess that should've been a big hint...! Are we going to eventually discover that Mikasa is the ultimate Titan at some point? Maybe in season 3.

this type of stuff is why I like to revisit things to catch foreshadowing that I totally missed the first time now that I have the benefit of hindsight

On one hand, I feel like one day wouldn't affect anything but I can see how it could be a bad habit to get into since it's hard to know just how much leeway you have there.

Admittedly I do some amount of actual role-playing with the Persona games though and I guess that's not everyone's thing.

Well, I think it's the most so with P3 just because you have so little leeway, and that's only adds to the frustration. You're on pins and needles because you know you can't afford to screw up.

Just finished watching episode 5 of the Persona 5 anime. Feels weird watching an episode where they wander through Mementos fulfilling a request. Also, I guess they're going to have to breeze through some of these Confidants the way P4 did, but I hope they give some more dedicated time to the more popular ones. Speaking of which, they're clearly giving Akechi more stuff early on in the anime because of how popular he is among the fanbase.

Good first episode for FMP IV! I am kinda surprised they're skipping book 6 entirely (well, the opening scene of episode 1 is from book 6, I think, but other than that). The story isn't that important, so they could probably blow past it in a couple of episodes, but at the end, Sousuke definitively rejects Tessa and confirms that he loves Kaname. I think that context would've been good to have for the hand-holding scene here.. I've already read books 6-8, so I know what's going to happen for a while. Not sure how deep this season is going to get.

Supposedly the anime is supposed to cover all the way to the end. That's a lot of volumes so I'm not exactly sure how well it will go down.

The hand holding scene was actually one of the reasons I went back to read book 6. It definitely made me feel like I was missing something regarding the progress of their relationship.

They're planning on covering 6 books in a single season? That seems like a rather tall order. Well, it's four-ish episodes per book, I guess, depending on the exact episode count. The first season covered three books in 25 episodes (although it had a lot of slice of life filler) and Second Raid covered two in 13. I guess that just means there won't be very much filler this time.

Nah, nighttime is pretty limited in P3. They do give you something new to do at night a little later on, but it's mostly just for fun.
