i already pressed my luck by (successfully) pulling on the second banner trying to get a sakura knowing full well that loljake was lurking in there too

i mean, getting a second lid wouldn't be the worst I GUESS

but aren't there some p good banners around the corner? my ticket supply is getting pretty low

That was the first 7* banner in JP, so it should be coming early August

Depends on what you need and want.

Unless something happens Raegen's banner is an 11k step up. Raegen will work as a great starter unit, and solid damage dealer at 7*.(Divine Ruination, and the upcoming AT family along with Lassworm, Sephiroth, etc.)

Cannon dude got a 36 atk hat as a 4*.

Beyond that nothing super interesting the coming months beyond that besides Tifa/VP/Citra and Hyoh banners.

Star Ocean might happen. But the only really noteworthy one is Rena since she is a step below Ayaka and CG Fina.

Squall is noteworthy if you aim to strengthen Hyoh. Unless Gumi improves Squall.

Rinoa was pretty good but really depends on what you need and got.

And if you have enough Lapis for full step-up, youll get at least one of Squall or Rinoa.

Despite wanting to do all those step-ups on the anniversary banners (I did do one full, disappointing one) I forced myself to keep 25k just in case there was a step-up I wanted to do in the future.

So yeah, that sounds like the plan.

FF8 is a full vanity banner for me. They could all be Shadow-tier and I'd still pull for them.

I will go out of my way to make Zell as viable as he can possibly be. Which means I might have to finally sit down and do that robot trial.

Finally got Carbuncle 3* w/no cheese and all missions

Hot damn, Basch is an amazing tank.
Zargabaath kept everyone healed and dispelled the dark phase buffs, Basch tanked and broke like no tomorrow, Mystea kept the stop away and provoked all the Death, and the Sakura duo popped the dark phase and just thundered everything.

Pretty much a war of attrition since, until the end when I didn't dispel to get the kill, it was
1)get recovered and buffs in line(especially reraise on Basch via Zarg)
2) proc dark phase w/Sakuras when Basch can defend and Mystea can provoke(1t after twilight guard/Clear Veil reset)
3)Final Thunder shot, Dispel with Zarg, use elixir on Basch w/Mystea, reset Twilight with Basch if ded.
4)Back to 1.

And to further sweeten the pie, I pulled Nichol from the Carby ticket.

But yeah I autopilot did my three legend runs of the collection quest and then noticed quests were broken. RIP 120 energy I could have used to maybe catch up on espers or trials.

Also it seems like there's no longer a limit burst penalty for awakening units, ie it's the same amount to max whether at 4* or 6*.

That sounds like something you might want to acknowledge in the patch notes.

I did, in fact, sit down and do the robot trial. Only took a half hour for the full clear, guess power creep hit him very hard.

I put up Barbie, so kill the first two bosses while getting the rewards, escape from Bloody Moon with boots, pellets whatever.

I think he was 'good' when he came out but even with his enhancements there's someone who does all of his jack-of-all-trade things better at this point. Like I think the only thing he has going for him is aoe stop resistance.

Rejuvvinate +2 is sexy as all hell(fullHP, 50%MP, good regen for both, reraise)...but ST.
Arcadian Light +2 is 100% buff plus decent ailment resist( including stop and missing poison, sleep, silence, petrify)
Word of Law +2 is 4 turn 30% mitigation.

Still jack of all trades, but a decent one now.
