@crazygamer999 Well I tried. But I was stupid and didn't wrap my head around the need to dispel, buff earth resistance, and provoke on the same turn. I tried using VoE as my provoker and giving earth resistance at the same time, and yeah...it failed miserably. I may need to ask for a 100% evade provoker later on, but right now with the friend system being as glitchy as it is, I think I'm going to pass on this trial for tonight. And ruminate on whether it'd be worth it to try and TMR farm again, because I badly need those Quick Assaults.

Zarg worked much better as my MP battery. I probably didn't need to, but I fully enhanced Rejuvenate, kept his attack low so as not to kill Shantotto with Bushido, and occasionally used his other buffs if I had the time. Friend Barb was a 100% Evade provoker, which worked great for me as it let me chain her with Shantotto, leaving my own Barb free to chain cap with DC Aeroja.

Just Shiva and Carbuncle left. Not sure if I'm going to push for those or not.

Shiva is kind of a pain but managable. Carbuncle, however, needs a good magic tank outright.

You can borrow an 100% evasion tank for Shiva. And enhance Cerius.

A prepped Chow along with ability recovery/good regen can take light route Carbuncle; if you aim for fixed damage.

Or revamp if you need to take the dark route.

All 3 star espers are worth it. Even at level 1 they are more powerful than their level 40 two star counterpart.

Shiva was definitely the most annoying out of all of them released but its doable.

You can make carbuncle easy or hard depending on how you beat it.

I just stayed light with Carbuncle and never really ran into any issues. I also kind of cheesed with a setzer double dice capper to 3 Freyvias to bypass his high spirit/def

And Shiva is down, all missions complete. It took several tries to get the strategy just right, but I managed to do it with the Physical Cover route, and without 100% evade even.

Build was:
Zargabaath: MP Battery, Bushido Freedom, Buffing
Basch: Physical Cover, ATK Break
Yuna: Barblizzaga, Reraise, Healing
Sephiroth: Damage
Orlandeau: Damage, Break

First turn killed me the most, because I had to fiddle with Basch's HP/Def. Apparently 2000 HP was worth a crapton more than 23 Def. Shoulda realized that. But his cover, 100% buff from Zarg, Atk break from Orlandeau, and Reraise lets Basch do his job of keeping me alive. From there I made a couple mistakes here or there, not keeping Atk break up, or missing a cover because I forgot turn counts. But 4-5 attempts isn't awful for me, so I'll take it.

I'll look at Carbuncle and decide if I think I want to do the safe or dangerous route. Gonna be thrilled if I can nab that one. From there I think I need to redo Ifrit to get all the missions, but hopefully that won't be too bad.

Generally speaking HP has been worth a lot more than def/spr, to a point.

Otherwise Snow would be a damn good provoker instead of just a provoker.

On another note, I have been doing manual TMR farming for the past 3 months during times where I just don't care about what I spend my energy on. I can't Macro since I don't have a reliable computer, and I can't do FReps on my phone until I do, so I've done it with patience and persistence.

I just got two copies of Ring of Lucii, and 3 more are within 10% of being done!

Awwwww yis, got me a Lotus Mage Fina from the CG Banner. Hadn't spent the 4* ticket from Shiva yet, makes me even happier I took the time and energy to figure it out. I think this is the first healer I've gotten that outclasses Tilith, and I've had her since day 1.

And so many Burst Pots. @_@ Definitely finishing CG Lid's LB, not sure where to go after that. Need to look and see what I've got available to me.

I did a 10+1 (1 gold, 10 blues), 30% rainbow, 6 4* tickets, and 70 normal tickets hoping for the new mage girls TMR.

Aside from the 4* tickets, I got 5 golds, and my 7th Veritas of the Dark. Everything else was blue. Bummer!

No idea. That bastard wont leave me alone. The rainbows did start flowing when I went into 10+1 mode, but unfortunately for me there was no mage TMR. 7 off banners and 2 Awakened Rains.

On the plus side, I guess I dont need to worry about whether or not the good boy gets a 7* now

Well Item World is pretty easy. You probably want some status defense, but as long as you have good breaks, the bosses won't do anything other than tickle you. They're kind of durable without breaks, but with them they just crumple. I used a tank, but I don't think I needed him, and I used Lunera for buffs and MP recovery.

Just bring your A-team, and you shouldn't have issues.

Edit: Just for reference, I went with Ulric's Kukri for my first run

HP+10%
SPR +12%
MP +10%

I may just keep that, I'm not sure. A total of +30% MP is nice, a good weapon to put on someone who just needs MP and some additional stats. I'll probably do a Bowie Knife and see what I get off of that. I think I'm also going to consider giving Blood Moon a serious shot this weekend to see if I can get the staff, and enhance that.

And more than ever I really miss the fact that I wasn't playing when Rem came out. I hope her event re-runs eventually. I want those daggers!

I was heavily considering pulling for the Awakened Rain, but I only have 7k Lapis, ~60 Tickets, and a dozen 4* tickets.

I think I'm probably going to hold off on pulling at all until Sieghart(sp?) comes around. Hopefully I'll be sitting on a mountain of summon tickets at that point and I can have a better chance at getting 2 of him for the superior 7* tank.

I don't usually worry about filling out my pokedex of ffbe units, or min maxing from banner to banner, so I'd rather go all in on long term goals.

weapon enhancements... basically look like "if you have Olive you do this asap."
the bonus for guns is a +30%. that's way better than the limited +15% to HP and ATK katanas get. good quality daggers are a nice second choice for High Tide too.

I'm guessing that these enhancements don't stack if you are already at cap though, right? I can hit cap on just about any character that Dual Wields with a Large Sword and another bladed weapon, so getting the 15% Atk/Hp enhancement for Katanas probably isn't going to help me as much?

I'm definitely only going to do a katana if I get everything else I want, and I'm only worried about Daggers because I don't have Rem's personal set. But Rods just seem like a no-brainer to enhance if you have solid ones, and Balthier seems like a good unit to enhance Guns for as well if you have him. I'm going to be redoing the Automatic Pistols since my first run didn't net me much, but those and any decently strong gun together might finally give me a reason to get him to 6*.

I'm glad we're not seeing the issues and maintenance issues JP did. I'm actually really enjoying the idea of the Item World; I can do a full run in about 10 minutes, if that, with everything getting one-shotted. And the bonuses will really add up, especially for any DW unit.

Yeah, if you hit the 300% cap that's it.
Which again gets me to say that if you've got Olive, you know what you're running. She's already hitting the 300% DH cap easily, this gives her an easy way to get to the ATK one too off the same weapon.
