Take last game for example. Zam put a random vote on corrik and said "lets goooo". It was quickly followed by 2 more votes. This was the start of applying pressure. Zam chickened out immediately and took his vote away. And that reaction spoke volumes to me. That was real information about Zam's state of mind based on his nervousness to have "led the charge" of a paltry 3 votes. But what we need to then do is take stock of that interaction, and the information it provides, and move onto the next branch, and the next branch.

And I don't mean to go overboard on this tree analogy, I just feel very strongly about early game interactions, and how important they can be and how much fruit (heh) they can bear going forward.

And so leo's random vote on plum? imo by itself it was fine. It got others to join him, and others still to question his motivation and challenge him. And that right there is content, and it's interactions that can tell us about leo and plum both later on. But we can't stop there, we have to have other strong interactions between other players, the cumulative nature of which will actually give us very tangible information to work with.

And even if today's lynch has been decided an entire 24 hours early we need to not rest on our yannys and make the most of the time we have. I know that's ironic coming from me today, but I hope you will understand cut me a break and expect that i'll make it up and then some just as soon as I'm able.

It is a bit different from FD's posts in Blade Mafia 5, but not signficantly. FD made two "check in" posts early on that came with excuses not to do anything and leave. Tony's was just nothing.

Now am I misremembering my own posts from Blade Mafia? Because that's not what happened at all.

I made exactly ONE post in blade mafia that was anything of the checking in nature. And it was along the lines of "checking in and i'm heading to work now, but I'll get to work after I get home from work".

And that's what I did. I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning after I got home from work (that was when I got home 2 hours and 45 minutes later than I was supposed to because I had to close the whole store by myself). And I stayed up listening to music for an additional 4 hours or so and contributed a hell of a lot.

So I'm really confused how that is getting confused for "fd makes useless check in posts in blade mafia". It was 1 post and it was followed by a veritable shit load of content. I feel like the fact that crescent has felt the need to mention it numerous times indicates that she is trying to paint me in a very negative light and I don't care for it.

And with that I have to be up for church in 6 hours so I take my leave.

I felt he was clearly lying about it, but I have seen him tell blatant lies to save face as town before. It alone wasn't enough for auto condemnation.

I know I was doing more watching to see how it played out than anything though. My activity had started tailing off by that point.

Also um... If you haven't read PW Mafia, it's the best example. This is someone who claimed doctor no reason late in day 4 solely to lie about who he saved, just so he wouldn't have to admit to having saved scum players. Image is something that naturally concerns him.

The context is that Tony's post isn't a scum indicator and that Tony and you (essentially an arbitrary second player) have made that kind of post as town recently. All you were was the easy example.

Its unlikely, but possible enough that I dont want to instantly murder the counter if Zam does flip scum.

I didnt like how Death is sticking on me. Im the only person with an original reason of thinking Zam was scum before the typo thing and it was predicated on me being town. Death trying to say Im bussing Zam completely contradicts the entire line of thought. I mean, Im good at being scum, but this is a Zam read not a Plum read to come to this conclusion.

It feels like an unnatural attempt to try to stay consistent as scum

Whew, home from work, and slightly before midnight at that.

And from brief skimming I see that Zam is doing stupid shit again, but is actually being held accountable, which is something I have been pushing for the last 3 games. It must be my fucking birthday (oh wait, it is! :D)

I'm not entirely clear on what insane thing he did, but I'll get to that.

I just got home and my wife made me a special dinner of ribs, so I'm gonna have a nice dinner, and I should have an hour or so available to start getting up to speed. That wont be enough time to cover the 550ish posts, but it will be a start. And then I have church and more birthday stuff tomorrow (as previously mentioned), but I'll be a productive member of society before you know it.

2 things.
One: I am not sticking on you anymore, I wasnt aware of the watcher stuff at the time I made that remark.

Two: Having an original reason for disliking zam doesnt mean I cant suspect you. (Besides that doesnt apply, since my reason was original too <.<)
That said, Sultans vote came after yours and looks worse anyway. So I retract the bus statement as well.

Zam clearly wasn't entertaining a counter claim? But even if he was 1) scum can lie and counter-claim anyway and 2) there could be two watchers. So even if he was entertaining the possibility Tony was counter claiming I don't see how that's indicative

I'm really, really getting sick of driving and living in the north pole. I'm caught up now on the whole topic and a half I missed. Luckily, it doesn't seem like it mattered because I can guarantee you that Alakzam is not watcher. The CRUSADE plan would have worked better if people had done literally anything to progress it when it when I was gone. I admit I didn't think I'd have to personally whip every single vote. Puns, Han, Death, why didn't you actually whip votes on Plum? It makes it feel like your votes were entirely for show and not in support of our glorious inquisition!
