Real question though, is using MZero here actually all that risky? It seems like it's a lot of potential information to pass up on.

Speaking of that though, on like the 1% chance Scare is town, what would MZero do if Scare was taken off his list?

I don't think zach is likely to be scum. Would I be shocked by the result? No, but the game is simpler if he's town and I have other people with less to indicate town so I'm not immediately concerned with him

The list earlier had 6 people, afterwhich Death promptly named you as the 7th. I'd have rather let you fill that in yourself.

Though the more people on the list the more dangerous it is.

All you really need is Han, Ben, a single player X, and a pecking order. If we don't include Scare here, and no one dies, we confirm the final scum to one of these three players. We can still mislynch twice and be fine. This still works a different way with Scare involved, but does not tell us as much.

Something simple like:

Unless Han is cleared, blow up Han

If Han is cleared, blow up Ben

If both are cleared, blow up X

If no one dies, one of the three is scum. If Ben dies, it clears Han. If X dies, it clears both.

It's certainly imperfect, but that is I believe the best way to use it.

Pretty sure no list I ever entertained, so I don't really care about being consistent with ideas that were never mine to begin with.

And I wouldn't fill that in with myself anyway.

Maybe not best, but certainly safest.

And I don't really care if I played the role of X there. If I die to confirm two town I'm pretty ok with that.

Because I'm awesome, duh

I feel like using this bomb with a publicly agreed upon plan is so naive given how much information based roles we have seen. To think scum cannot manipulate it or trick is just feels so reckless to me.

Especially true given we have a literally rolled over scum.

Its just simple logic. Usually scum dont get daytime roles, but at night they could do something to someone to influence Mzero.

Sorry guys im still around. Ive been reading along but im not sure i have the mental acumen to understand the Mzero scenarios.

If we feel that today is the correct day to test him im on board, but im worried it won't tell us as much as the theory crafting indicates.

For example (and i don't think this has been brought up) what happens if red didn't count towards mzero's ability? He was "unscanneable" so what if mzero's ability functions like a scan? This could result in a scenario where 0 people are removed. Or a scenario where 1 person is removed but it is from Ben or Han, and not Red. This would be a false positive and we could potentially have incomplete information and no way to know it.

But that's just my take on the situation. I recognize that i haven't been as involved as i should be and so ill support the decision of the group at large. I am also taking steps to remedy my availability.
