I used the Link/Snake bonus match as a starting point, so I've only really messed with Snake's division and some of Link's so far. Adjustments were made based on the 2010 X-Stats. I've got both adjusted and raw numbers listed so far.

And augh this isn't even a quarter of the bracket, I'm already regretting this.

Not having access to cn's poll updates is going to make this difficult when it comes to doing Draven adjustments.

Actually, the way he worded it, it was completely off-base. Pikachu got the point where he could meet Cloud. It was Cloud that didnt quite make it.

Decided to look something up, partially because of something that Leon said, and partially because if my #1 character is probably going to stink it up (if she even makes the cut), I at least want to validate my #2 for myself. So here goes.

Here's a fucking statistic for you - Kirby has been in 24 matches and faced 33 unique opponents, including the likes of Cloud, Sonic, Sephiroth, Snake, Bowser, Squall, and Luigi, and has only failed to break 40% directly on an opponent once, against Sephiroth in 2008.

The problem is, they don't have to know how to organize a rally themselves. Someone would just need to go into each of the top streams and read off a donation saying to come vote for [character] versus Cloud on gamefaqs.com, and it could draw enough eyeballs to make the difference. You could swing the entire bracket for 10 dollars.

(and there's no way SB's rally-blockers could stop it, since they're typing in the URL themselves instead of all coming in off a hotlink)

"casuals" to me means people who use the boards on this site and have for a while and know vaguely about contests but don't care about them. like people who know the rules and the history but barely.

i dont think "true" casuals would have gone to the front page to see the banner

this is my own personal speculation tho, i personally think nobody gives a fuck about these contests anymore outside of us and the casual gamefaqs users
