Have any of you ever seen people get up in arms about people coming out with decades old stories of sexual abuse by priests in the same way people get upset about things like the situation with kavenaugh?

I honestly cant remember anything. Im sure some people waved their hands and whatnot but nothing remotely close tothe level that women in the past couple years have faced.

Murkowski is facing a lot of local pressure to reject Kavanaugh and early today issued by far the strongest statements on the subject by any Republican. She rebuked Trump and seemed to imply we should believe victims. She also - though walked this back a bit later - basically said there should be an FBI Investigation. And, as always, she literally won a write-in campaign after she was primaried so she is uniquely resistant to any pressure from GOP leadership.

I really do think she's a no vote at least based on the current information.

It's the others who I have a hard time seeing them getting to a no vote. At least right now. Might change post hearing. Plus even if individually I have a hard time seeing the path, if Murkowski is a no you only need one more.

She was also threatened by Trump last year with punishment for Alaska in reduced funding if she voted against the healthcare bill. I'm guessing he didn't follow through with that threat.

His strategy is to make a media circus out of things. And he is good at that, so if that's what you want, yeah, hire him. But I generally want to tune out media circuses. Like, I understand there is basically 0 truth value in the literal statement of anything Trump says. The purpose is to create a circus, not to express a statement of fact.
