I happened to have Kolento's stream on in the background while I was doing other stuff. He climbed to #1 legend while I had him on, and then switched to NA where he had not played in months queued into a bunch of bad matchups at rank 12 and won them all.

As for the card, Zul'jin looks a little like pre-nerf Yogg, so it will probably be fine. Have some deadly shots and crushing walls in your pool and it'll be a board clear, and then Animal Companion and To My Side and Emerald Spellstone fill your board and then you also get a bunch of secrets. The hero power is underwhelming, but that's also the direction they plan to move in with post WotLK death knights, so you don't get buried under repeat value if your opponent has a DK and you don't

The warrior spirit that was revealed a bit ago looks really strong - Spirit of the Rhino, 1 mana 0/3, stealth for one turn, your rush minions are immune the turn they are summoned. I think its the spirit that I like most so far, since it just meshes really well with what most rush minions want.

The mage secret they revealed is going to be annoying too - 3 mana Epic, Splitting Image - when one of your minions is attacked, summon a copy of it. They put a paladin secret in Mage by mistake, thats really strong.

That mage secret reminds me of the good ol' days of Reno Mage. Gimme that secret all day, gimme 4 Sludge Belchers with that and Duplicate, yes please.

We often get free legendaries, and I was wondering if picking a team might influence which free legendary we get, so...picked hunter (in case it increases my odds of getting Zul'jin).

I mean, I think you can get infinite value from Immortal Prelate, and that would be enough to keep up with most death knights.

This tavern brawl is unnecessarily hard and therefore bad. You essentially need a combination of perfect draws and perfect play by both players to have any chance of winning.

Finally got it. As the Mage, you need to hold onto all of your spells and spell damage minions and hope they play Millhouse late.

I think Paladin/Mage/Warlock are the classes I most want to tinker with right now.

I finished the brawl on my first attempt. I don't think you need a perfect draw, or even a good one really because I only played one card on my first four turns, you just need to find another player who understands what's going on. The hardest part of these co-op brawls is always dodging the dummies who try to kill you.

I'll have to look at the entire set again, but Arena Treasure Chest looks like the worst card of the set to me.

I think Millhouse only accounted for about 25 damage in my game. The finishing blow was Cenarius followed by Savage Roar on the next turn.

I also won brawl on my first attempt. I know brawl is mmr based but I think co op works differently. I actually messed up and didn't win the turn I could be because I thought he had more than one form.

Also had a game as tess rogue vs a control warrior. I mean RIP warrior because when you play tess to equip a fiery war axe and then play four heroic strike, 3 crowlys, 2 cleaves, and some other nonsense its the reason the card is in the deck despite only being played like every 8 games.

I had really bad luck on that brawl but then again most people I played with didn't really know what they were doing so that added to the challenge greatly. Definitely one of the harder ones I've played though.

For Loa, I think thats about right - you could probably group them into 3 tiers with 3 each and have similar power levels. I might move Bwonsamdi down to 8 just because I dont have much confidence that the 1 mana plan will work.

I would probably move Krag'wa (Shaman) higher. You can usually get two spells off of it, particularly if you use the brand new Shaman Primordial Glyph on the previous turn. At which point it's basically Ancient of Lore that costs 6.

Obviously you can highroll way higher than that, like generating a hand full of Unstable Evolutions, but really average sounding cases are already pretty strong.

I would move Shirvallah (Paladin) down a little. It's good but not 2nd good. "Late in the game this costs 0 mana" yes, I've seen giants before. "But this one has rush" yes, we got a giant with rush in the Boomsday project; it doesn't get played. Granted, that one doesn't have divine shield or lifesteal, but regardless, Shirvala is probably...fine, will get played in spell control paladin, and will get ignored in all other decks.

I would move Akali (Warrior) down. What exactly is the plan with this card? Run rush minions without Town Crier so that they're still in your deck? Really? You're also not running Odd Warrior, and like...right now the not odd Warriors are like...dead man's hand and Mech'a'Thun and recruit. DMH does not want this, Mech'a'Thun probably doesn't want this, which leaves like...recruit warrior probably (Oondasta synergy!)

I would put Akali below Gral (Rogue) at any rate--a lot of creatures in rogue decks might be 3/3 to 4/4 range, but that's fine. 5 mana 5/5 or 6/6 that draws you a card. Just don't mix with 1 drops.

I don't have a strong opinion when it comes to Bwonsamdi/Gonk/Hir'eek. Combo cards you build around, so either meta breaking or trash tier.

Mmm...so cards I think that were glossed over because they were in the reveal dump (plus a couple that were on stream but which I passed over at first glance).

Banana Buffoon: 3m 2/2 give you two bananas. Good for completing quest mage quest.

Cheaty Anklebiter: 2m 2/1 lifesteal battlecry deal 1 damage. For even decks running Corpsetaker (Even Paladin/Shaman), this might maybe be better than Viscious Scalehide as the 1-of card that activates lifesteal.

Mosh'ogg Enforcer: 8m 2/14 taunt divine shield. Recruitable with Master Oakhart and probably does silly things in Inner Fire priest.

Spellzerker: 2m 2/3 has spelldamage +2 while damaged. Lots of decks including aggro decks have toyed with Plated Beetle and even Amani Berserker. Here's another river crocolisk for decks to consider. I don't think you necessarily have to point your own backstabs at this or anything, just scare your opponent into not playing their Fireflies or 1/1s.

Shieldbreaker: 2m 2/1 silence a minion with taunt. Yeah, this card scares me, un-nerfed Ironbeak Owl for aggro.

Ice Cream Peddler: possible way for shudderwock decks to gain armour with battlecries, which was a real weakness before when they couldn't get out of range of Malygos combos that were frequently faster. They can also get armour from Da Undatakah, though, so jury's definitely out on this one still.

Drakkari Trickster: if you run this and azalina, you can always steal the weapon from Kingsbane Rogue. Not a big deal in standard, but Kingsbane is a serious deck in wild.

Shieldbreaker won't be good right away but it's one of the cards I am excited about for the future. too many decks right now are running multiple taunts that spread out across the board, and having a single taunt silencer isn't really great for that. spreading plague, saronite chain gang, need to rotate out. not only that but most aggressive decks are running either keleseth or baku and both of those restrict the use of shieldbreaker. it's good but it's not good enough to consider cutting keleseth or baku.

I just completely uberlucked agaisnt a deathrattle rogue as tess rogue. The guy had lethal on board and I top decked a 1 mana myras which got me the cards I needed to full clear his board. The next turn I dropped Tess (who did nothing because the guy is a rogue) and my opponent had no answer to remove her from the board.

Anyway it's a game I think someone who was even slightly not as good as me would have lost, but I did have to have like like a perfect sequence of several things happening in a row to win.
