Man, I know I'll get hate for complaining about this, but thinking about that Super Bowl is so weird to me. Like even as a Broncos fan it registers as a completely underwhelming and forgettable Super Bowl. If that isn't the most hated Super Bowl of the past decade then it's second only to the other one the Broncos were in, and even that was probably more memorable just for what a disaster it was. The Broncos team that did win played such an unsexy type of football. They weren't good enough you actually thought they would win it, but they were the #1 seed in the AFC so it wasn't like a fun crazy run either. That was totally Cam's year by far, if I wasn't a Broncos fan it probably would've been best to cap that season off with the Panthers winning.

It sucked. But not everyone gets a dream run. Even Brady played like shit in the AFC championship. Cam had his shot at a legendary season and he came up just short. But the only reason it really annoyed me was because Peyton kissed Papa John after the game.

It also feels like a million years ago since the team is so different now. I don't think that's all on Peyton retiring since he was trash that year anyway. Kubiak was maybe a better coach than I initially thought since it really started falling apart when he had his health issues and now of course with VJ it's basically been a disaster

What do we think for Paxton in NY? Way I see it there are a few options:

1) he's really good, maybe better than ever, but only pitches like 130 innings due to injury

2) he gets off to a terrible start and earns an undying reputation as a guy who can't cut it in the big city even though he finishes the year strong and ends up with like a 4.10 ERA

3) he's god awful and/or never really gets to pitch for them very much due to injury

The Chainsmokers are garbage. I think this is the longest I have ever listened to them.

Mahomes has obviously been amazing but it feels like any team this year could have a game where they put up 40. The consistency of their performances stands out of course but having so much offense is still kind of commonplace in general. There are six QBs in the NFL with a passer rating over 110 right now. I dunno, it's kind of boring to me, these outrageous QB numbers they're putting up feel so meaningless at this point
