I've read that is supposed to be 2.5 hours of footage with multiple "hard" (credits shown) endings.

Anyway, I just watched (played?) it. Took me about 60 minutes to see one of the hard endings. It's definitely an interesting concept and worth watching again to choose a different path. The whole interactive movie bit also fits the narrative perfectly.

yeah, that was a trip. watched it high af last night.

Ending was garbage and I'd rather just watch a well written show than one where I choose what the character does the whole time. It was a clearly half assed attempt at being "interactive."

I found myself just kinda getting annoyed with the choices eventually, would have preferred just a regular episode

I got the ending where he has a fight scene with his therapist, and tries to jump out a window. After that I went straight to credits instead of learning more about mom.

That gave you a credit scene? That's strange because in my case it booted me back to a previous choice.

That gave you a credit scene? That's strange because in my case it booted me back to a previous choice.

How were you watching? On my phone the only normal option was to go back to a therapy session, but in the top right corner of my screen I had a skip to credits option.

I watched through them all to see if it was a ruse, but it wasnt.

The one complaint I really have is looping. There are multiple "wrong" endings that "loop" you back to a previous point in the movie and you end up watching the same scenes 2, 3, or even 4 times if you want to see it all. It makes for a really long and tedious watch, even though it is interesting, if you could watch it in a way without having to watch the same scenes too many times(2 times is more than enough), then it would be better.

In my opinion there should be a "skip to next/previous choice" option while watching it.

For those willing to ruin it for themselves, there are already flowcharts that tell you which choices to pick in order to see it all.

Sort of. As far as I could tell, after or before an interaction(choice) scene you have a button to advance 10 seconds and you can repeatedly press that button, but maybe I was missing something. It was annoying to try to see "everything".

During an "interaction"(choice) scene, you have no option but to "make a choice and wait" for the scene to end. Then the button will allow you to advance 10 seconds at a time again.

Again, I could be missing something.

TV, I didn't notice that you could go straight to the credits. That's actually not really what you're supposed to do. There are endings that are, well, endings. Those do not give you an option to get back to a previous point like that therapy session. They just show you the credits automatically.

I just watched it again with my sister and the more I think about it the less sense it makes. Heavy spoilers below.

I myself had the ending that Stefan got on the train with his mother. This of course killed him in the past timeline because the train derailed. However, this also killed him in the future which makes no sense to me because the whole narrative is about separate timelines and alternate dimensions. Why would he die in one timeline when he died in another?
My sister got the ending that the game was released and got a 5 star rating from the critics. Game is pulled from the shelves because Stefan murdered his father. Colin's daughter (Pearl) remakes it in the future but runs into a bug during testing. This gives you the option to throw tea on your computer (she throws it on a keyboard as far as I could see, but whatever) or destroy the computer (she destroys a monitor actually, again, whatever.) Destroying your computer throws you back to a previous choice but throwing tea on your computer kicks you straight to the credits for whatever reason.

Ehhhh no way I'm sitting through that again

the whole thing is an hour and a half if you go through all the endings

the people praising david cage games are tools, there is nothing to talk about in any of those games, they're cheesy at best and the tell tale games are just action movies

if you're of college age you will enjoy it

i only saw one scene repeat once but that was because i didn't watch it on netflix i guess
