Maybe I can explain. I absolutely hate Scarlet Witch in the comics and literally everything else but the MCU. I think the character sucks and her powers are dumb. But in the MCU, I agree she doesn't have much of a personality, but her powers are just so cool to watch like this in live action, and she comes across as such a powerhouse that's only contained by her stupid frail human body. When she let's loose, she has arguably the coolest parts of the movies she's in. I could watch her do cool totally-not-magic-or-chaos-powers all day. I can sympathize with her character far more than any other media too, because she's just a lost, scared girl trying to make due with what she's got. She's fallible. She doesn't have an ego about her. But she just wants to make up for her life and do good things. Scarlet Witch is actually my girlfriend's second favorite after Doctor Strange, and she's not nearly as immersed in all of this as I am. But she tells me her favorite part of each movie she's in are the parts with Scarlet Witch. I find it hard to agree with her. In particular, her face off with Thanos was totally awesome.
