Moon Knight will probably get saddled with a TV show on Hulu or something, and Disney will just forget about it. Which is too bad because, generally speaking, Moon Knight is the most intriguing of the street level heroes in Marvel.

Speaking of Thunderbolts, some guy that correctly leaked info on both IW and Endgame said there's a desire within Marvel to do a Thunderbolts movie series with Ross, Ghost, Abomination, Zemo, and Justin Hammer.

That's... not a great team when you consider the actual characters they could bring in. And, honestly, I bet you have to recast Ross, Abomination and Hammer.

Maybe it's a desire to use those guys, but I guarantee you that you'd be getting Songbird on that team.

That would be awesome! I thought he was super-underutilized, and the character eventually reaches his 70s in the comics, so you could definitely run with him for a while. That said, I feel like they might consider replacing him with Justine Hammer at some point instead, even if he does come back. At least he's easier to keep around than the already pretty-old William Hurt.

You'd definitely get Ghost and Songbird, and I assume William Hurt would be game to do Ross but idk if he'd go the extra mile and be on set and do all the Rulk mocap and stuff like Ruffalo does for Hulk

If we get Rulk I don't think we'd get Abomination, I also don't know if Marvel wants to draw any more attention to Incredible Hulk cuz it feels basically abandoned outside of William Hurt getting to cameo in a few movies

Sam Rockwell might be too busy or expensive at this point to be Justin Hammer but money talks

Maybe they'd throw Moonstone in too? I'd want Vulture personally but Michael Keaton can't just be "another dude on the team" imo

I had originally bet on Hawkeye getting to be the main character/leader of the Thunderbolts, I think that would bring more casual viewers in and would be a better angle for the story. It would be a stronger tie to the Avengers franchise too; having Hawkeye in the center of the poster would be a way bigger draw than...

Alright I realized Red Hulk would be in the center of the poster otherwise and I think casuals would eat that shit up so idk now

Starting Thunderbolts with anyone but Zemo running it as fake heroes trying to have a huge scheme going on just feels wrong. I always felt this version of Zemo was set up perfectly. Hell, even moreso now.

Zemo wanted to break up the Avengers because he thought they sucked and were a problem.

Now they totally fucked up when they let Thanos win the first time. What better time for Zemo to saunter in with his fancy new hero team that's totally going to do it better than the Avengers did?

Also, I think in a Thunderbolts movie, we'd get Ross working with them rather than being a part of them. More like a laiason for the government, like he was for the Avengers.

That said, he could still end up busting out the Red Hulk.

After some Google searching, it appears Tim Roth is game to be Abomination again. He said he'd be for it, he just didn't think Marvel would bring Abomination back, though that was in 2017.

Granted, he's also 57 now.

It seems difficult to even conceive that being enough to stop Captain Marvel since she hasn't even suffered any hardship at all in the two movies she was in or shown any sort of weakness. I'm sure they could find a way to let Moonstone get one up over Captain Marvel with some cunning though.

just saw the movie tonight. Looks like I missed out on all the discussion.

I went in hearing a lot of hype about this movie, so was a little disappointing that it was just good, not great. I'd definitely put Infinity Wars ahead of it.

As with any movie that deals heavily in time travel, Endgame got kind lost in a bunch of logical inconsistencies and past/present/future implication bullcrap that it lost any sort of logical rhythm. I mean, here's a question. How does Dr. Strange have powers in the final battle? He had already given the time stone to thanos before he disappeared. The other time stone was in guantlet 2. How exactly does Dr. Strange have his powers? How did they all know to get there? And how was Thanos able to defeat Thor, Iron Man, and Captain America in a fight without his guantlet?

I do love the gauntlet delivery scene at the end though. Good movie overall. Didn't feel like 3 hours, which is a good thing.

Strange has powers beyond just the time stuff. Just like Wong. Losing the Time Stone meant he couldn't time hax, but he still had all his other powers. Like, them opening portals and such is something they can just do, no stone required.

And he knew to get everyone there because he had already seen that future in Infinity War. He knew how it was going to play out.

Strange's powers don't come from the time stone. He's a sorcerer. He rarely uses the stone to begin with.

They all knew how to get there because Strange had already viewed that future in IW and knew what he needed to do. He had roughly twenty to thirty minutes from the time the snap was undone to coordinate the forces at Wakanda, New Asgard, Titan, and wherever the Ravagers where, and he has the abilities to pull that off.

Thanos is a beast even without the gauntlet and he was fighting to kill here, unlike IW Thanos who was more measured and just wanted the stones. Remember, IW Thanos beats the Hulk without using the power stone even though he has it.

A Thanos that wasn't actually out for blood beats Hulk easily with no help. A Thanos that was fueled by rage and desire to kill taking on Thor/IM/Cap doesn't seem unreasonable.

Like, for example, Cap was kicking ass when he was getting hits in and Thanos was losing, but then when he missed and Thanos got a shot in, it nearly took Cap out because the dude's not a god or anything. Same thing with Iron Man.

The established rule of the movie's time travel was that it couldn't affect this timeline's present.

They explained it that he lived his life in the alternate timeline that was made by him going back/staying, and then returned to the main timeline to meet with Sam.

EDIT: It's basically implied he worked with Avengers/Avenger-types in that alternate timeline and that's how he got a new shield/how he got back.
