Beatrice... I mean, Beato, didn't expect this to happen either, but is not bothered by this one bit. Makes me wonder, why didn't the normal Eva get to become a witch? And what if a guy comes and solves this riddle?

Now that we have a new Beatrice, I assume she is going to take over the the sacrifice ceremony and the game with Battler. A high schooler who has never been a witch is now going to think of ways to kill humans that includes herself(?).
Because of this random as hell development, there are so so so many questions I want settled. Truly a succession crisis.

After that battle between Beatrice and Virgilia I wanted to say nothing will surprise me anymore. Clearly I should know better.

Witches can still apply to men but Ive yet to see one in the game

There are now 2 Eva's. I mean one Eva and one Beatrice and an ex-Beatrice. Fuck this, I will call the old Beatrice 'Beatrice' and the new one Eva-Beatrice, like the character menu.

Eva-Beatrice is even more twisted that Beatrice, this is what being drunk on power is like. Maria will be the same if she learns more magic.

Killed by cakes and jelly and other all sorts of dessert. Ok. It's creative, to say the least.

I am starting to hate Eva-Beatrice's voice acting now, it's like there's something stuck inside her throat when laughing. It's even worse than how Maria says Kihihi. Absolutely painful to listen to.

With Beatrice, you can see a sort of purpose behind her killings, to confuse the survivors, create locked rooms, and stick it to Battler. Eva-Beatrice is doing this for the lulz and nothing else and that makes her the dangerous one.

From Beatrice's point of view, there is nothing wrong with what she was doing. If she breaks something, it can be fixed; if she kills someone, they can be revived, and everyone is happy. Yay. She is not necessarily cruel by choice, just immature (how could a 1000 year old act like such a kid?). The same goes for Eva-Beatrice: the more childish they are, the more violent they are towards humans. I should probably be more considerate.

Yeah, not really, I can now understand why, but I don't have to like it. If I have to make a comparison, it's like a kid happily stamping on a colony of ants. It's funny to the kid, but not for the ants (yes, I know he can't revive the ants) Battler was right to teach her a lesson.

Although, going by Beatrice's reaction, she really isn't utterly evil, and I don't see her as the big bad anymore.

Forget what I said about Evatrice, she is fully aware she is cruel and delights in it. Also, Maria ruins everything and finally dies before the tenth twilight. I should be happy to be rid of her, but now there is Evatrice that is going to beat her in being annoying af.

Magic is hell of a drug. Human Beatrice was pure and innocent, and look what witch Beatrice became. Now give all that power to the spiteful, obsessive and volatile Evatrice... Yikes.

Battler thinks it's acceptable if people are killed quickly and their corpses are not mangled. Mate, you're getting way too used to this, it shouldn't be acceptable in any way.

I don't get Battler here. Beatrice has been cruel all the time, going as far as killing and reviving Battler multiple times, and only now does Battler get seriously pissed off?

Ok I think I get it, he knows Beatrice is cruel, but can't stand how she thinks it's all fun and games.

Beatrice totally sucks being a teacher. Im getting the impression that she easily gets affected by her emotions and isnt as good as she claims to be.

Rudolf, Kyrie and Hideyoshi are going out to get food. Evatrice is definitely going kill Rudolf and Kyrie, but even if she spares Hideyoshi, suspicion is going to fall on him when only he comes back alive.

Ronove is telling Evatrice to be careful, maybe in an attempt to keep her in check? I wouldn't have bothered, she is already getting on my nerves in the short time since she appeared.

Beatrice wants Battler to acknowledge her in Purgatory or whatever magical world. It looks like that not many there take her seriously there then.

There he is. He slaps Evatrice a bunch of times and dies for it. Shame he didnt shoot her right then and there.
Rudolf and Kyrie fought well, but it was all for nothing. The first 6 sacrifices definitely werent directly attacked in ep1 and ep2, if done by a human; I cant imagine taking all of them head on with these two among them.

These people are trying their hardest to get killed. Three people died in the mansion and they stand there crying. Not-spirit Battler goes on to give a speech on why George should be sadder than him. Right.

The game between Battler and Beatrice has been suspended. How does Umineko go from here then, I don't think Beatrice is in a position to start and control over this time loop thing anymore.

Another thing I'm concerned about is the nature of the ceremony. It is supposedly for the resurrection of Beatrice, but that had already done by the end of ep1, latest. Then it becomes the a game that Beatrice made up to pass time, yet it is clearly more than that, causing Beatrice getting more powerful each time, and the succession of Evatrice to the position of Golden Witch. Probably the ceremony gives a lot of magical power to the target witch.

Enough with the Kinzo sympathy already. He might as well have personally killed his whole family and George wants to learn from him. I don't care for these heart-wrenching love stories.

I re-read the epitaph and nothing there mentions transferring Endless Magic to another person. In her hubris, she wrote a entirely unnecessary letter promising to give up her power to whoever discovered the gold for that particular game. Not very smart at all.
And now she is probably going to get George killed, and left the window of the guesthouse open for Evatrice to get in too.

How does it even cross my mind that Evatrice needs an open window to get in. She already has those aimbotting Bunny Girls to do the dirty work. Speaking of which, why do these two have to be bunnies. Maybe it's related to that old Japanese legend about rabbits on the moon or something.

The Chiester Sisters are so overpowered, Evatrice doesn't even have to do a thing. And there might be a whole army of them, only 45 and 410 are here.

The power of love/friendship/human emotion/life etc. is a big cliche, but this scene is pretty good

Beatrice is dangerously going ahead to revive Kanon and somehow save Jessica. You're telling me she might actually die here? That would be some twist.

I thought we're over that Jessica/Kanon stuff already but that's not gonna happen. At least it's short this time and serves to actually advance the plot.

Beatrice was caught and was carved up. Oh man, she is really going to die in ep3, so soon in the game? This is going to completely overturn the whole premise of Umineko since the beginning.
