I'm still not sure if I can solo Machamp. Haven't tried in a good while. Last time I tried I got it down to about a quarter left.

Highest I've ever solo'd was a 17.6k scyther and I had only a few seconds left.

Also, I doubt I will get any new research during whatever this event is. I currently have tasks that take me a long time (hatch 5 eggs... not going to buy incubators, earn 5 candies... walking a 5k pokemon and not wanting to switch it out, and do 5 raids... I rarely get the chance to raid). One of them is an encounter so I'm not gonna risk tossing it if it could be something useful, and the other 2 are for a charged tm and 3 rare candies, so definitely hanging on to those until they are done.

Select a Pokemon in your storage and click the camera icon, or select the camera in your item bag and select a Pokemon, and start shooting away. I'm not familiar with the AR+ version of it, if you have that, but as far as I understand you just have to tap wherever you want the Pokemon to be displayed to get it out of its Pokeball.

If you're trying to get photobombed, keep in mind that it will only happen on the first pic of a session so it's best to just take one picture at a time, exit back to the map and re-enter for another picture, rinse and repeat until you get bombed. This will all go quicker if you turn off AR+.

Like I think this is how you catch Smeargol and they said something about Pikachu.

So yeah, when you're photobombed you'll see a Pokemon show up in the picture that you took, then when you exit back to the map that Pokemon will spawn next to you. By default it's Smeargle, but June 28 until July 6 (1pm Pacific start/end time) it will be Pikachu wearing a party hat instead. You can only get photobombed once per day aside from events that specifically allow more.

You can also just delete and re-add friends for tasks like this. Your friend level progress doesn't reset unless you don't re-add them for like 3+ months.

I've caught 3 top appraisal tier eevees recently. None shiny but damn I've put so much stardust into gen 1 eeveelutions. It's nice to catch an eevee that's just shy of 1k CP without any dust. Best one I ever caught before weather boost was mid 700s. Newest one is 971.

It's a nice thing for A types. Dark for Rattata, Electric for Geodude. A Golem looks like a fucking magnet, it's awesome.

And A Execcutor finally got me the first level of the Dragon medal.
