I think "Oh, poor me" is a defense that fits the offense, currently. Questionable lynch, here. Feels like it's a hollow pressure lynch for the sake of having a pressure lynch more than anything. Can people on the lynch go into more detail on their suspicions?

Yeah, Chris normally is more solid, and waits to apply more pressure to a person before jumping. He left Lea just because she pointed out someone new she suspected, which I feel is far more light.

WELL it was moreso Lea isn't going anywhere, I quickly ctrl +f'd Death and was like "well this isnt great let's see what happens" but then people I think are being logical were like "nah probably bad idea" so hopped I went.

I do find it FUNNY that it went from staying on HB forever to a few pokes and suddenly CHRIS IS VOTE HOPPING LIKE A MANIAC.

Corrik's interaction with puns early was exactly what I expect from Town Corrik

not all inactivity is created equal. eaed griping about how many topics there are reeks of fake content. He's trying to justify his activity by blaming everyone for posting so much when I think town eaed just gets caught up and posts his thoughts. at least that's my head meta of him

What exactly do you expect from scum Corrik?

And to make an aside about Corrik.
I just realized/remembered his gladiator role didnt force him to not talk if he didnt use it in the first 24 hours. (going by his role PM)
So on day1 he basically used it as an excuse to not have to post anything for 36 hours. (it was a longer day)

Compared to that, sheeping Chris is not that beneath a townCorrik.

Think this is the guy I want more looking into right now. Dude has done the following things this game.

- Lightly push that people that are considered "town" by people (me, chris) are scummy in some way, but not putting any pressure on them
- Lightly work against lynches and existing suspicions without making any real pushes of his own.
- Vote Pez after being cited for being one of the non-voters, all the while dissociating himself from the vote. "He wants to see how the game responds to a potentially competing lynch" with all 2 no effort votes on it.
- Said I looked "real bad" in topic 1, hasn't made any effort to revise his opinion, still thinks Pez is a better lynch. Presumably because I'm being called town by so many people.
- Has made an excessive amount of posts about how he can't be here for some reason or another. Either due to work or his phone charger or whatever.
- Actively spoke against the hb lynch early because TEH SHEEP, then as the momentum didn't die easily he sorta stopped doing that. When Chris asked him to vote hb he said "isn't he cooked anyway" and he also said someone had a really bad defense of hb, prompting dowolf to say "why not vote them then?" to no response.

Here's the vote post btw. Just looks real bad.

I do want to know Tom's read on him(And his on Tom) though.

He just feels like he's suppressing discussion without contributing anything of value himself and unwilling to take risks. Also Tom saying he's doing things while he hasn't really done anything is suspicious!

Actually technically Ulti's vote on Pez had some effort on it I'll be fair

Misguided effort, but effort.

Still though there's been no real push for Pez. Ulti was one and done. Seems weird to call that a "potentially competing lynch" unless you push hard for it, which no attempt was made to do at that time.

My general impression of you so far is that your stances on other players have been fairly wishy-washy, and this post caps it off by both applying flawed logic in regard to voting trends, as well as being non-committal in your suspicion. This "anyone think X is bad too??!" prod from arm's length does nothing but try and stir up discord without getting your own hands dirty. You aren't even directly engaging Chris here despite your entire post being about him.

Specifically going after the perceived 'weak links'? I can understand why you might, but I think it's a flawed endeavour. Never put off until tomorrow in mafia what you can do today, since quite often it's already too late by then.

For the sake of argument, lets say eaed and Chris were both scum, and more to the point, you suspect both are equally likely to be scum. Sure lynching eaed is the path of least resistance and any scum lynch is a good one, but what good does it do if Chris is left up days later when the most assertive townies, and possibly yourself, are dead and can't confront him?

Oh, I see what you mean now. You mean your use of those strats rather than what I thought of the strategy itself? Honestly I don't think it's inherently town or scum-like, but in the wider picture it's beneficial to scum, which is what I was getting at in that post. It doesn't colour my impression of you one way or the other unless you continue to do it, since you could feasibly make that your lynch strategy as either alignment. It's a nul tell.

I've asked to replace. I'm so sorry. I really wanted to play with some of the great players that signed up for this game but 5 and a half topics is just too many to catch up on when I really only get to do indepth reading at work. Plus, I have my brother's bachelor party this weekend, a buddy's wedding the weekend after, I'll be gone the week after that, and I'm in the middle of open enrollment at work which is a crazy time in my department. It was a mistake to sign up but I really wanted to play with you guys. The game just started much sooner than I was prepped for. Ugh. I feel really guilty.

I think it's interesting Luis that you'd call Sultan on being wishy washy and non-committal while at the same time calling him scum based on that based on a post voting on Chris of all people.

I mean I do think he's been wishy washy and non-committal I'm just not positive it's a scum thing right now as much as a lack of assertiveness and that post seems like a weird one to get on his case for since it takes some stones to go that way given Chris's general reception among the players at large currently.
