There was another accusation for just regular sexual harrassment of him showing off someone's nude. This has less evidence to support it, but he theorizes that it was a misunderstanding, because some of the inofrmation she presents was inaccurate as he remembers it. I mean, I watched it, and he does literally have evidence regarding one of the two accusations. He shows chatlogs with an accuser who claimed they were underage and yet he continued to trade nudes or w/e with them, and in the chatlog, he asks them "are you over 18" and the person says "yes, i am, otherwise i wouldn't be doing this". And he shows proof that this accuser's initial tweets/accusation said "He never asked me if I was 18, he doesn't ask anyone this, and he should've known I was a minor"
Of course, you can always say chat logs can be doctored, but if the chat log is real, that does seem like evidence that that accusation was false. (Disclaimer I never heard of this guy before 3 months ago and don't participate in any gaming youtube culture so I don't know any of the people involved) ... Copied to Clipboard!

The only way this works as like a push at best for him is if he managed to get a 100% undeniable he has been targeted or used as a way to get more clicks or something etc AND virtually every major channel that also believed the accusations publicly apologized. Jared has basically 0 reliability with anyone who thinks the accusation is true and even if overwhelming evidence that it's not was put in front of them they would not change their minds. It would take other people coming out that they do trust that would need to happen. I mean, if it was legal council that gave him this advice, I don't want to tell someone who has a law degree how to do their job, but anyone who knows anything about internet culture can see that not saying anything is probably a bad idea. ... i paid no attention to this when it was big and didnt know who he was before it happened
but the impression I got was that the accusations against him were pretty accepted as rock solid - like nobody was saying the "innocent until proven guilty" stuff or complaining about cancel culture etc. Everyone was basically like "yeah the evidence is damning, he definitely did it, this guy is donezo, get him outta here" was the evidence not actually that strong or whatever for some chat logs to easily disprove them? --- The batman villians all seem to be one big joke that batman refuses to laugh at - SantaRPG ...
