Is there no guarantee for multis in this? Usually theres like a 4* or whatever at least, but these dont say anything so it seems like you could just do singles instead even if its slower

No guarantee, but there is a pity mechanic. The reward is nice, you get to pick any 5* on the banner you want. The problem is that it's an absurd 400 pulls to activate, and the counter resets every banner.

It's fine. If you're already full on gacha games, I don't necessarily think this is one that needs to be added to your rotation, though.

The 2nd Pryce fight is destroying me. I can get him low, but Blizzard hits my entire team and just drops everyone from 3/4 or higher to critical and then they die. Pikachu is so weak for a fight with multiple electric weak enemies. I cant get his buff skill either because I cant beat Clair in the training due to not having Pryce lol

Im telling you, spend some time and level up Barry. It takes a little grinding but you should be able to break his level limit a few times without too much trouble, and then use him in conjunction with Rosas buff to Sp. Atk.

I have him at level 70 and was able to sleep through all the current story missions that way.

Oh wow. All my guys are like lv33-35 on ch.8. Leveling up is starting to take a bit too now

Just grind out the EXP book mission in training, once you can do the one for the tier 3 books, it really doesnt take that long to level up.

What are you guys doing with your coins? They seem hard to come by but the story gave me a small pile of them. I'm on Chapter 7 and still cant seem to evolve anything so I havent bought anything.

It only costs 1000 coins to get the 5 Stones you need to evolve your first and second thing. I spent them on Snivy and Piplup, predictably.

Yeah, I got the first extra action bar and then the discounted evolution mats. Theres a limited training mission in rotation that gives pearls that you can trade for more coins as well. Not sure sure how often it shows up though.

Ive gotten up to mission 18, which Im actually stuck on currently. After chapter 10 they all just become single boss fights to unlock characters. I think 18 might actually be the last one.

Im also stuck on 18. I was able to beat Very Hard of Tech Supercourse and it have me a single gym leader note, so my guess is that Strike and Support Supercourse do the same.

Should I be evolving as fast as possible? I dunno if they lose out on extra stats or anything if you keep them in base form for a long time.

I dont think theres any downside to evolving as soon as you can beat the mission.

I like that the 2 free dragon users they give you are two of the worst characters in the series. Should be able to finish today probably. Been working on getting all the moves and stuff to make fights easier

Man why does Blue get Pidgeot as his Pokemon while Red will more than likely have Charizard.

It's the only Pokemon he has the entire game in RB outside of his starter, and it can mega evolve.

EDIT: He also has it in GSC, where he doesn't have one of the starters. They may have even made it his final Pokemon in HG/SS, I can't remember.

Very Hard level up gives such poor drop rewards. 1 of the gold book and 1-2 of the 2* if youre lucky? Ugh

Yeah, it's pretty bad, but it's also a relatively easy stage, and the gold books do give you a pretty large amount of exp.

Yeah, just feels really tedious though. Also there are free units past the initial list in this topic. Did the game already add more? I just got Viola and now I need to level her up like 30 levels so I can use her. Same for Hau basically since Pikachu is sadly just plain trash and they probably wont even let you evolve it >_>

Yeah I think the initial list I posted was based off the beta and only went up to mission 14, so theres a few extras now.

I never pictured Viola with a French accent even though that region is based on the area. It also feels like 95% of her dialogue is just fantastic. Oh well at least her design is good and her Pokmon seems solid enough.

Poor Normal types are never needed. Never used Whitney or Norman

Blue is up and theres event levels to go along with him and missions for beating those levels. The first missiongave me 50 gems + I got the standard 30 for beating the battle and the 10 from the initial story scene.... seems like theres potentially a lot of gems to get from this.

Is the Take Down Blue levels available? I finished unlocking new event stages but I don't have that one, despite needing it for event quests.

Take Down Blue levels are co-op. If you havent completed the main story through chapter 10, I dont think youll have access.

I'm on Chapter 8 currently. I'll grind through those couple of chapters. Looks like I have lots of time based on the length of the event.

Co-op missions are what burnt me out from Opera Omnia, so we'll see how these go.

It's a typical gacha event. There's a handful of story stages you play through that will reward you with gems. It's pretty short. Once you complete that, you unlock a co-op even (with two tiers, normal and hard), that you can grind to obtain event currency that can be traded in at the shot for a small handful of items.

Other than convenience, no. There's no difference between 10 single and 1 multi.

Any idea if the difficulty levels all have the same weakness? Might need to grind some of mine past another level cap depending on how the stages look

The story stages for the Blue event have you locked with a specific given party (which is super weird), so don't worry about that.

The co-op stages have Rock/Water/Wind weaknesses.

Guess Ill start grinding Tyranitar, Prinplup/Starmie and Swanna then. Got all the moves on them at least other than passives since some arent important right now.

Honestly, I don't think I'd waste any resources on Brock or Misty. They're bad. Barry and Skyla are fine.

Best f2p units right now are Hau, Rosa, Skyla and Korrina. Hau actually tears things up regardless of type weakness, that Raichu is a monster.
