Both these guys are true.

Trump is overweight. That we know. He has a gut. Visceral fat is extremely unhealthy. Due to said gut, Im sure he has fatty liver disease, and some level of insulin resistance. Both of these increase the chances of heart disease, and lets not forget he mysteriously disappeared a couple of months ago to go to the ER. All this combined with other factors, like his anger and excessive perspiration, makes him the most unhealthiest president Ive ever seen.

The thing is, in a normal situation I would say Bernie's age disqualifies him from being President.

But I would also say the same thing about Trump, Biden, Warren, or Bloomberg. Which doesn't leave you with anything appealing.

America has this weird problem where all the important politicians are fucking dinosaurs. Which isn't something you see in any other country, at least not yet. Putin, Merkel, Xi, they're all younger than these American fucks, and that's before you start getting into the politicians who are actually young.

I'm curious if there's a cultural or political reason for it.

I'm just laughing at the fact that in 2016, a moderate liberal beat a radical leftist extremist in the primaries, but couldn't beat a centrist pandering to conservatives, and so the Democratic party's response is to fill the stage with extremists and mock moderates like Gabbard, Biden, and Bloomberg. The DNC and their superdelegates will not support someone like Sanders under any circumstances, though, so the end result will be a primary race that is too close for comfort. This is going to be a mess.

...and I'm loving every minute of it! :D

Bernie is only FIVE YEARS older than Trump.
Trump is 73, Bernie is 78.
Hell, almost all the presidential candidates are in their 70's.
Warren is 70. Biden is 77. Bloomberg is 78.
The only significant one NOT in his 70's is Buttigieg who is 38, but he's NOT winning.

The biggest factor to remember is that all of the presidents throughout history have been rich, which is easily the biggest factor.

However, you need to remember something:
We, generally only have 2-3 presidents a decade, and then you compare that to medical advances of the best and the brightest of humanity, through over 300 years.

It's, not exactly enough of a sample of the population to have a legit answer.

I dont think Americans are willing to vote for a person who supports communism and communist regimes. Especially anyone over the age of 50, who remembers the Soviet Union and how abhorrent they were. Itll be an uphill battle for Bernard.

You missed my point. Those are pretty much the three oldest major world politicians outside the USA (which is why I listed them), and they're still all younger than every major American politician right now (and half of them are dictators for life). This is deliberately ignoring dudes like Macron or Trudeau or Johnson.

Politicians on average are definitely older now across the board, but it isn't as pronounced elsewhere as it is in the States. In the recent Canadian election you didn't have a single major candidate at 70, which is the opposite of the case right now in the States.
