Took 300 cubes to get Tosa for some reason. As decent as this game is many aspects, there's definitely some lying going on with these "2%" drop rates. To boot, they stapled the drop timer on the older, less useful super rare, which wasted a ton of cubes (I got the 0.5% drop twice before Tosa).

What I find most surprising is that you got two KagaBBs. I've never had a points shop SSR, and only rarely the shop R drop in either gacha or map. I always have to buy them with points.

The sad part is I had to throw the KagaBBs away. I rarely get the chase super rares (at least the event shop ones) from construction, so this was a surprise. Also got a ton of dupe Hoods, several Amagis, Warspite, Takao, etc. that went right in the sausage grinder, too.

i still want my seiba lion mommy, but the only big thing left is Anni 3 and idk that she'll be too useful there. I think E2-ing Meteorite (which leaves my E2s at 2/3 for Risa Taneda) will hopefully be enough for the clear, might take a bit of a break afterwards. Basically all of the time I spend with the game now anyways is just auto-ing missions and doing miscellaneous management/busywork.

Nope, Meteorite E2 wasn't enough to clear Anni 3...Eyja can clear out the Hammer Bros near the bottom lane but the ones at the top are still a problem. E2 Lappland doesn't get stunned by them, but she also can't kill them before they kill her, even with Red's help.

Maybe if I upgrade Buckshot to sk10, but that's another truckload of high-end materials...

My long-term goal at one point was to clear every map with an all catgirl team. Though two problems at current.

Among the 14 feline fems, you have;

1 Vanguard
3 Caster
5 Guard
2 Sniper
2 Specialist
1 Supporter

Even if you tossed in the catboys (all four of them), you just end up with 2 more Guards and 2 more Specialists.

Aside from Melantha, Haze, Mousse, and Jessica, every other one is *5 or higher, and I don't own any of those *5-6 except Cliffheart and Pramanix and only because they gave one copy of each away back when the game launched.

So yeah, might need to rethink this or wait until this particular pool expands. Of course now I'm curious if any one race in this game can create a balanced team.

Finally got enough materials for Meteorite's M2 and started that...then I looked at the requirements for M3 and damn. It's about 1050 Stamina's worth of materials even cutting out the stuff I already have. Though I've also been spamming expedited Recruitment for more Green Certs to trade in the cert shop, which feels like inefficient use of resources but otherwise the Recruitment Permits pile up way faster than I can find 4* tag combinations so it's not like I'll use them up otherwise.

Also the 5th bonus event stage is pretty rough, but I think upgrading Meteorite should help with that as well, I have enough DPS to handle one lane relatively safely but not the other. And Shaw can't seem to push the enemies properly even with skill level 7.

I played it a little bit today. The game feels pretty generic gameplay wise and the graphics seem a bit blurry for some reason. With that said, there's nothing particularly bad about it, but it's certainly not pushing the gacha envelope. I'm still looking forward to the full release.

I've come to notice now after looking more into it that all the races seem to lack for one or more classes, even the ones with over a dozen members of that race. Speaking of which...

Though honestly, as many races as there are, most of them are just a variant of "animal ears + tail", "horns", "wings", or a fair amount that just look like regular people even if they're technically a non-human race.

The Liberi (bird people) are the second most numerous race after Felines (14 vs 13) and yet they're probably the biggest example of "never would have guessed they're non-human" because only a few of them have any sort of avian physical traits, and most of the time it's just the presence of feathers on their outfits which could just as easily be mistaken as part of their clothes and not their bodies.

Hell, that new girl from the current event, Ceylon? A Liberi, as if anyone could tell. It's only made more glaring because the antagonist of the event is also a Liberi, as is Hellagur who appears often in the story

Top it all off with Ceylon's father eventually making an appearance, and he's the most human looking NPC in the game so far. I suppose the implication is that Ceylon is a human/animal person hybrid, of which I'm not sure if she's the first one that's appeared so far.

The interesting thing about that if she *is* the first we've encountered is the possibility that certain hybrids are born with diminished/non-existent animal features, meaning some of the "race unknown/withheld" Operators may be unidentified hybrids (and not just human/animal-eared, what would the results be from two animal-ears? Would a Feline/Liberi create a "griffin" of sorts? Would their traits be too mismatched to even tell what they're desecented from anymore?)

Another detail we learn is that Ceylon's mom died long ago, but more specifically, during childbirth. Beyond just how hybrids look, their could be something about their very biology that may be a subject of debate or controversy in Arknight's lore.

Or it's all just coincidence, not sure what the studio wants out of the story aside from "Rhodes Island = good Infected, Reunion = bad Infected". Unless hybrids somehow factor into Infections somehow ...hmm, Amiya is said to be a Cautus/Chimera, but they never specify what the "Chimera" part entails as Amiya looks like an ordinary bunny otherwise, albeit some cutscenes have implied there's something else going on here with regards to her power over Arts (which it's self has heavy ties to the Infected). The word "Chimera" would suggest a hybrid of some kind in her case, but it might not be tied to interracial breeding so much as something done to her in a lab prior/immediately after she was born. (Oof, and our Doctor PC may or may not be involved in that. Gonna be quite the reveal if their research into finding a cure for the Infected meant having to do some unsavory things in the name of medicine. Maybe having amnesia is a blessing...)

To be fair you still have a good shot of getting 4* even just using no tags, it's what I've been doing when I don't see anything interesting.

Shaw's manual skill has a higher weight limit, if you haven't tried that. Will still be better at M3 of course. Personally I just ignored the Specialist mechanics lol, but the Extra stages are definitely some of the most difficult content for Arknights so far (And I breezed through the initial stages), though a fair bit is also some annoying artificial difficulty like the physical resist unblockable enemy units.

Yeah I was thinking if you allowed for 'horned' or 'ears' in general you'd get a much better pool to pick from. Surprisingly Liberi are also pretty common next to Felines with a good range of units in general.

I blew my massive hoard of gems (literally years worth of the stuff) in SMT Dx2 just now trying to get the Alternate Dimension version of Nekomata only to end up with AD Garuda and Shiva instead.

I'm flabbergasted that I managed to get two of the *5 Alternate Dimension demons (in the same pull no less!) but literally no Nekomata despite her being only *4.

I tried Tales of Crewhatever and well, it's probably one of the most generic things I've ever seen lmfao. It's so bland and uninteresting in the gameplay etc.

I've played Tales of Link quite a bit actually, as well as Tales of... whatever was b4 this one that was a semi-playable 3d action rpg.

Link had an interesting gameplay and a system to keep you playing without too much hassle. It had pretty good challenges and a ton of fan service potential with seasonal characters.

The 3D action rpg actually played like Tales and had some good art to go along with it. Sadly it was way too repetitive with little payoff

What does this game bring though lol? Graphics look ultra blurry, shit runs at like 10 fps, it's turn-based with 0 resemblance of strategy even in the long term. The art isn't even great either. An SSR doesn't even give you some exclusive animation or whatever.

I feel like the chance of getting 4* tags is something like 10% and the chance of getting a 4* from no tags is maybe 5% (and once, I got a Meteorite, I guess), so it's something. Always nice when I get one, though I recently realized that I could just buy the Courier/Gavial dupes in the cert shop for 30 green certs apiece, so that's more for the pile. I want to upgrade my Dorms more for extra Credit, but the final upgrade costs an absurd amount of building material, and I just converted all the stuff I had to upgrade the Training Room.

Luckily it turns out I had 2 Nanoflakes to start with so after burning my potions/certs I was able to start Meteorite M3. Also did an Anni 2 run for more Orundum and Meteorite's E2 range lets her kill the first Hateful Avenger before it even moves towards you, which is kind of funny. And yeah, I feel like I would've had to be much stronger on Anni 2 to clear it without Shaw thanks to the Wraith Leaders. I might try her 2nd skill for the EX stages though.

incidentally, I think my most wanted character is now Angelina instead of Siege, the huge AoE Slow on s3 looks amazing even if it stops her from attacking otherwise. I do have 25 rolls so I could drop more on the current banner, but I feel like I should probably save for future banners...i dunno.

I said this at some point previously, but the way the story is based around discrimination against the Infected, who A) have no obvious visible symptoms and B) apparently aren't contagious, it doesn't seem to be very well thought out as a whole.

I think the Durins story is amusing.

Durin appears, everyone assumes Durins are slow and lazy, so they cant get any info out of her race otherwise.

Myrtle appears, everyone goes oh, so its just the one lazy girl but theyre still clueless about the race because Myrtle is just as sheltered.

Also they seem to be perpetual lolis since Myrtle claims to be an adult but everyone keeps giving her candy and headpats.

nope, Meteorite M3 -still- isn't enough to really deal with the top half of the first hammer bros wave. On a 2nd try I managed to get past it by switching Lappland to s2 and using Project Red liberally (Lappland did die during the process, but w/e).

but then the Arts Master drones that just go straight through got past at the end, and I'm not actually sure if I could've handled them with the setup I was using...temptation to get a support Exusiai is growing. Though there seem to be more server issues than usual atm so I might have to wait till later.

Yeah, the 2nd tier green cert shop lets you buy most of the 3rd tier crafting materials (orirock cluster, polyester pack, etc) for 30-45 certs. Good for getting upgrade material without having to spend days of Sanity farming for it.

And yeah, that's a downside of recruitment, the pool is pretty significantly limited. I still have yet to get a Top/Senior Op somehow

Didn't even realize the the thing with the hats, and here I thought I was being thoroughly observant, ha. Anyway, I would have figured as the bird-like race they would have had wings at least.

I recall at one point that people thought the different races was due to the Infection. (IE: It was turning humans into cat/bunny/dog/etc people for unknown reasons.)

I feel like I needed to E2 a majority of my units before I could reliably clear Anni3, also being lucky that Exu's S3 coincided with when I needed it to go off most haha. I've seen some videos of people just using her S2 though.
There's definitely little to no reason to run the stage after you clear it though (being that it takes so much longer than Anni2), so if a friend unit can help you clear it's def. recommended to do so

I finally finished the story of Warrior of Despair in Mobius Final Fantasy.

This is such a good game and I am so sad to see it go. I hope they release an offline version of it like they did with FF Dimensions. The story in WoD is one of the best in any Final Fantasy game and the soundtrack is pretty fucking great too.

I feel like I needed to E2 a majority of my units before I could reliably clear Anni3, also being lucky that Exu's S3 coincided with when I needed it to go off most haha. I've seen some videos of people just using her S2 though.
There's definitely little to no reason to run the stage after you clear it though (being that it takes so much longer than Anni2), so if a friend unit can help you clear it's def. recommended to do so

s2 seems like it'd make more sense overall (and presumably be better against high-DEF enemies too), though a lot of support Exusiais have s3 selected. and yeah hopefully more Durin someday, though it'll probably be ages before they get into the English version
