I still don't like bolt claiming a town read and scum read on red for the same reason. It sounds fake and like he couldn't decide whether to actually push him or not. Not only that, but he comes in today trying to claim he's basically confirmed town for the whole thing. Still stinks to me!

So knowing Corrik, I wouldnt be surprised if scum tried to shoot Han N1, he didnt agree with the plan, and just stealth complained that it was a bad choice.

Meaning if Corrik is scum Han is probably confirmed town (Though that was already very likely)

Regarding this sceptile claim, it doesnt address any of the points against him. He didnt vote because it was 6-2? Why did he not vote at the end when it got closer? He was around with 7 minutes left. Are we saying he just.... stopped following the game at the end? And once again 6-2 is not insurmountable. Why not vote red there? Or if you dont like the Red lynch why not try to get a lynch on someone else?

Anyway, so kind of confused - Corrik's claim changed - at the beginning of the topic/day he was still on Death being scum but then swapped his claim at somepoint to say he was town after saying he possessed him? That seems kind of odd...

Corrik is notoriously unreliable when it comes to claims. Hes not an idiot, but his claims are nearly meaningless and he gets lost in his own head which makes his logic impossible to follow.

I would pay attention to who he thinks is scum but trying to follow his logic is probably a fools errand.

ok a quick summary of all the claims thus far:

Lea claims TOWN Yasuho Detector, Joshu Higashikata

Corrik claims TOWN Possessor, Noriaki Kakyoin

Death claims TOWN Vanilla, Pocoloco

Sceptile claims TOWN Vanilla, Koichi Hirose

For whatever it's worth, Corrik's flavor actually checks out completely with the source material. If he is still lying, he absolutely did his research here and I have to commend him for that.

But that being said...I really don't understand Corrik's play here. He spent all of the end of D1 and start of D2 saying "Death is scum death is scum", says he knows Death visited Damion, etc. all to reveal that he sent Death to Damion and now believes Death to actually be town vanilla.

I actually follow the first half of this logic, I think. If Death WAS in fact scum and did something obvious to Damion, he'd most likely be exposed by Damion. But whenever Damion shows up (don't recall that he has yet) and says "hey, nothing happened to me during the night or X happened to me", then Corrik would get that information.

It seems all too premature for Corrik to claim this role just to out Death as town vanilla (even as Corrik says he believes to be true now) . Which leads me to believe that Corrik is not a town Possessor whatsoever and perhaps has bluffed this entire Death -> Damion thing in the first place.

Which is pretty much my thoughts on the subject as well. I assume you picked a lower power role that would possibly be glossed over, and it might have worked cleanly if Abacus had not already been outted/no night kill happened. Unfortunately the math just doesn't check out.

Probably but I'm looking at it from a perspective of night-moving roles. We assume they have a role blocker since the cop got stopped. At least 1 vanilla scum. The Godfather/Ninja already dead. I would assume a strong man or assassin on top of that but Damion didn't die so that rules out you tracking Death as an assassin probably. There are possibly other things I'm overlooking, I don't claim to have perfect knowledge of the meta here, but those are the usual scum roles I think?

Poinsoner as the extra kill is a possibility, but I personally would assume that shot goes somewhere other than Damion.
