Honestly, if Sceptile is scum too then we're doing so good I wouldn't put anything past the last scum. If Puns is scum I could see this just being a roundabout way to give up. I do agree with Plum that there doesn't seem to be a scum motivation outside of that. Maybe there's a part 2 to his plan. If there's a town motivation for doing it then I haven't seen it yet.

Which of these ideas is supported by occam's razor? Puns used to be pretty respectable at scum but now he just sucks. Or. After a long mafia break, Puns rolled scum 3/4 games and now a lot of people are conflating his general personality with scum traits.

I would encourage anyone who has played in my recent scum games to take a second and consider that in those scum games I was attempting to replicate my own town behavior but struggling because I hadn't actually been town for so long.

Then I play by all accounts a fine game as town, but it's anonymous so you all just disregard it like wow somehow magically since my username was not on display that means it was like a totally different town brain behind the Rem account, certainly not Town Puns we knew before. Now that my name is public again I have to revert back to my personality from 1 year ago and pretend I didn't just display competence at slow playing a game then stepping up and helping carry in mid-late game.
