Is this what you guys meant? -Advokaiser Superman vs. Lex Luthor (Superman) One of the most ingrained rivalries in the DC universe is the one protagonized by Superman and Lex Luthor two characters who represent both sides of a coin. Whilst Kal-El represents hope, Luthor is the incarnation of evil and human selfishness. The mythology of the Man of Steel wouldnt be understood without the animadversion of these two characters, who in recent years have become allies, with the risk that this union could be shattered by lies. -smashmexico.com.mx (translated) MATCH 2: Nintendo vs. SEGA (Videogame Companies) Long before the console wars between the three big-name companies from today Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft came to be, there existed a head-to-head rivalry like none weve seen to this day. After Nintendo had not only saved, but also revolutionized the gaming industry forever, a new foe decided to surface in order to overthrow Nintendo from its reigning position. To put matters into perspective, the NES had outsold its competition by 10 to 1, so trying to do this was no easy task. Even then, after carefully taking notes of what its competitor had done by releasing its next-generation console, the Super Nintendo, SEGA decided to launch its own 16-bit console: The Sega Genesis. Not only that, but Sega also created its own mascot to have a better chance at competing, called Sonic The Hedgehog. Sonic was an instant success that resonated with people greatly, and thus, a legendary rivalry was born for years to come. -Advokaiser Red vs. Blue (Colors) As the popular saying goes: For tastes, choose colors. Well, among the plethora of colors that exist in the visible spectrum, there are two that often gather the most amount of fans: The intense, imposing sight of scarlet red, and the serene, yet powerful tone of a royal blue. It also may not come off as much of a surprise, since both colors are part of the trifecta that composes the origin of all colors, with the other one being the lesser popular, but bright and vivacious yellow. Odds are, if your favorite color is any other than these two, youll still have a preference for one over the other. I simply have a childhood loyalty to Clancy Browns Luthor that prevents me from voting otherwise here.
