To use a videogame example it could be like class Character{ get_position(); walk_towards_location(position); run_towards_location(position); damage_character(); get_character_health(); is_character_alive(); } Oracles argument, near as I can tell, is that you can copyright that, a set of function names. Not any of the code inside the functions, just the function names. And the reason that matters, is that if you work with an Oracle database and then you work with a Google database, you would need to use two separate function name lists. Which sucks for developers who want to write code for two different platforms (like android and iphone).
