I would vote FH above anything else here, and above most of the contest probably. This is my single hardest matchup in all of R1, I've been dreading it since I saw they went together in the bracket. Love them both a lot :( At least one of them is guaranteed to get through!

Would also pick Servants above anything in the bottom two matches, that may be my personal weakest 4 pack in the contest lol.

I may or may not have assumed this was a Very Different vocal song from Type-0, only to be very disappointed. I do like Bump of Chicken, but this track didn't click for me.

Just cannot believe the disparity in preference I feel for XIV tracks, like every time... I guess there's a ton of music from that game and the varying styles gives a little something for everybody but geez. Always one end of the preference spectrum or the other. I just need to stick with the non-vocal boss themes I guess.

Ink Long Dry is decidedly not my thing, and while Servants of the Mountain has shrunk on me a bit I do still like it.
Second match is TOO CALM (I do like Fisherman's Horizon though)
Real Emotion's style of dance pop is kind of nostalgic, even if it's not a very strong example of it. Feywood is just too ambient for me to care about.
Full Speed Ahead is a lot of fun! I guess it can't be a "new" discovery since it was in Theatrhythm but wow it's a lot more to my liking than I remember. love the drums

match 1 i could go either way (i love both songs), but servants gets the slight edge of me knowing the context (which is part it the appeal in it to me)

i like tidus. a shame it is going against what is possibly my favourite uematsu composition.

if i had a nickel for every time i heard bump of chicken perform a song specifically for a jrpg game, i'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird its happened twice.
