I will say that I don't think that's entirely fair. Depending on the context, not feeling comfortable calling out a Nazi for being a Nazi can be excusable. There are, of course, other times when it's not, and while failing to call them out doesn't necessarily mean you agree with them, it does mean you don't see them as a significant problem, and we've seen what happens when too many people don't think Nazis are a significant problem.

As expected, the snowflakes whining about "freedom", run to the mods when they get made fun of. Happens every time.

It is the most serious contagion we have faced in almost 100 years. Did you somehow miss the millions of people who have died to it so far, or are you in denial about that too?

A splinter group has blockaded Alberta from the United States, forcing real truck drivers to divert through BC or Saskatchewan. RCMP were poised to remove them when an additional group arrived and swarmed the officers; RCMP pulled back to re-assess the situation. There are individuals on both sides of the border who did not plan on having their day ruined by the fringe right, and they have run out of food waiting to cross the border, it is unclear if any lodgings were provided to them.

In Ottawa, the main group is slowly breaking up as police are giving each individual the option to leave of their own free will, or have their truck moved for them, at their own expense.

You know, I've seen some pretty dumb protests over the years. This one is a pretty strong contender for the dumbest.

Meanwhile, the RCMP has snipers set up within minutes of the start of any anti-pipeline protest. It also says a lot to look at how O'Toole reacted to the CN blockade (effectively "blockades are never an acceptable form of protest and this should be illegal!") compared to how he's responding to these blockades.

The Alberta government is similarly "calling for calm" after RCMP were assaulted at the Alberta blockade recently, including an attempt by one of the rioters to ram (!!) RCMP.

One can only imagine the different messaging if this was being done by left-wingers.

I dont know about Ontario, but it is allowed in Alberta, but yet the RCMP are still doing nothing to the blockade at the US Canada border

Ironically (or not, because it's not really unexpected), them blockading the area is likely one of the major reasons they'll have trouble getting gas, since delivery trucks won't have been able to get in. It's almost like idling and pointlessly revving gas-guzzling trucks isn't a very good strategic choice >.>

Four Nazi flags does not discredit an entire four-day long multi thousand person protest and a convoy driving across the entire country, and countless upon countless people and flags promoting freedom. And a few of those flags or symbols we're used in conjunction with comparing the current Canadian government mandates to Nazi socialism. They weren't promoting nazism they were condemning it.

Many of their leaders have espoused Nazi ideology, this goes beyond the flags that were visible. There are also plenty of people yelling about being 'white nationalist' receiving no pushback.

Again, while I'm perfectly willing to believe that the literal goddamn (just for you, Zeus, neo-)Nazis are a non-representative minority, there are enough of them (including many among the protest's organizers and leaders) that holding the rest of the protesters accountable for failing to denounce them is reasonable, as is assuming that the failure to do so indicates some degree of sympathy.

And, again, they don't have to be Nazis to be engaging in literal terrorism, so I'm fine with sticking to that as a means of criticizing the terrorists.

The extent to which any attempt at factual reasoning immediately devolves into "It's about FREEDOM OF CHOICE" is pretty telling. Very, very few of them actually understand why they're supposed to be mad or can logically defend their anger, they just like being mad and glomp on to anyone that permits and encourages that instead of challenging them to think about it.
