So I haven't really checked in on how they are doing right this moment, but they were told to move for Monday morning traffic and they are prepared to tow and impound vehicles, if necessary. And oh look, there is several million sitting in a frozen gofundme to pay the mounting security costs ($800K as of last night) The city of Ottawa may be able to recoup some of their losses and rebuild a rail line with that money.

Hmm, this is reminiscent of when Jordan Peterson retweeted me. You want to turn me into your idealized man? I worked a landscaping job over the summer in 115 degree weather and hauled ass moreso than the muscular guy who hit the gym. I don't give a flying fuck what you think about my body, and it only reflects on your own insecurities to draw attention to my thin frame.

Remember, when somebody tells you you're wrong, the best way to respond to that is to insult their physical fitness. Do not attempt to prove yourself right or demonstrate any semblance of basic intellectual capacity. That would just be a waste of time.

I love how morally superior these truckers were to raid a food bank because they didn't want to spend money helping the economy of the places they're trampling through on their caravan to do.. What I'm not sure. Even if Canada has no restfictions they can't come the the US unvax. They're just being thieving losers.

Apparently, there's a possibility that some people with boats are going to be blockading ports in solidarity. I don't see that taking off, mostly because nobody sailing anything that could overpower a tug boat is going to risk such an investment on such a stupid waste of time, but I'm still getting tired of all this terrorism.

I'm calling them terrorists because they're literally engaging in terrorism: Forcibly causing large-scale harm/economic damage with the intent of coercing political change. Similarly, I'm calling them Nazis because they're waving swastikas around and espousing explicit white supremacist rhetoric. Were they not committing terrorism and not being Nazis, I would call them neither terrorists nor Nazis.

I will say, I am trying to keep an open mind and believe that the psychotic Nazis are probably a non-representative minority of an otherwise peaceful protest. That is, after all, what happened with the BLM protests, with a whole bunch of people generalizing the violent minority to discredit the movement as a whole and avoid confronting the central message. The central message of this protest is still wrong, of course, and I will continue to disagree with it and argue against it wherever possible, but I want to try to avoid dismissing it all as just being the insane ramblings of racist vandals.

That said, they're making it really hard, especially where even the well-intentioned ones are still engaging in blatant terrorism (that is, "we're engineering a supply crisis unless we get the political change we want").

I'm sure they're not all Nazis pooping on war memorials and robbing soup kitchens. Heck, I'll even believe that the Nazis pooping on war memorials and robbing soup kitchens are a relatively small minority. That said, the entire protest is a strategic attempt to disrupt infrastructure to effect political change. They are holding as much of the country as they can hostage until they get what they want. That is the very definition of terrorism, so every single one - swastikas or not - can be called a terrorist.

Mostly, I don't think he can handle the reality that nothing about his position is actually valid. If he gives up posting memes and ignoring criticisms, he'd have to accept that reality.

The fundamental basis of this is "if you don't change we're cutting off the country's supply lines." A protest is merely making your voice heard, sometimes being moderately inconvenient. That is a clear, unambiguous threat to the country's logistics for the sake of effecting political change through coercion. That's terrorism, yo.

Robbing soup kitchens is pretty violent. Pooping on people's lawns is arguably violent. Demanding the alcoholic equivalent of protection money from bars is pretty violent. Shouting racist slurs at security guards is pretty violent and hateful. The entire protest being organized by overt white supremacists is pretty hateful.

Again, though, I'm willing to believe this is a minority that just stands out because of how utterly disgusting they are. I don't need to characterize the entire movement as being a bunch of violent Nazis to discredit it, though. I can do that by pointing out that it is, at its core, a terrorist movement (albeit one that isn't actually going to be able to make a significant dent, so they're very much overestimating their power and aren't likely to cause any serious problems), as well as explaining just how misguided and misinformed they are about the whole situation. Invoking the whole Nazi thing would just be an unnecessary bit of ad hominem.
